Hello guys I'm almost 7x already and would like to learn more about this class, such as:

- How it behaves in the Silver River, and other current instances (function, Skills used, etc.)
- What are the main skills
- More curiosities class

And I would like to ask a question that has no on the class itself, but it's about Meridian, as follows the logic of that?

For example, there are days that I can give more "click" than other days. Because ?
When I'm on the option of "open gates" have times I fail, resets, then open one gate, then fail and reset again, how does that work?
Has some logic to choose which buttons to "click"?

New doubts:

How catch that pet from morai...(where him respaw, timer, what to do)
What are the best "free pets" around the world for ground water and sky ?
How get that quest for veno n barb?
How works that quest and changes for the pets, and what pets can do it?
There is any aoe pet or skill I can catch ?

For now it is, thanks to those who respond

    Hello and welcome to PWI!

In this game you can get various buffs, to increase hp and defense. Venomancers calling card is the skill PURGE. which removes buffs from an enemy.

Venos have a buff called bramble, which is useful and will reflect back in pvp and PvE (excluding open world pvp)

Also useful they have an amp, which when demon is 26% increased dmg for 26 second and when sage is 30% for 20 seconds.

As far as play style its a mix of being a mage, being hit and run, being a terrorist. Venos also get pets which separate them from other classes. Traditionally venos have been an economy class. They can do more with less money, and have less money in upkeep. Good in squads, and good solo.

Also worth nothing, Venomancers sage spark adds more weapon dmg than anyone else spark.

    Merdians

Every day you open your merdian you can open one more. So first day you can open one, or use one mystic pill. Second day you can use 2, third day 3, to a max of 5. If you skip a day then your back to one. They reset somewhere around 7 or 8 server time. 18:00. Its all random weather you open or fail gates, just keep clicking. All random not much you can do to help your luck.

there is also a class discussion also here u can search for it its down below where general discussion is,click pwi and then search for it, as for general things regarding venos the class is the only class that uses a wide variety of pets besides the mystic which is different since mystics have a preset summon which they can use, you're main focus as a veno will be debuffing which is why venos are so popular in squads expecially flowsilver palace(fsp) since they need your purge and amplify damage to make things go faster, you can also choose a wide variety of builts and thats why i said you should search for the class disscusion there u can find threads on it generally speaking it goes like this arcane armor venos will use human skills and debuffs from fox form, light armor and heavy armor are based more on player combat action (pk) and territory wars which take more use of the fox skills that's about it i can tell for u since there are already better threads written in class discussion info :)

    - How it behaves in the Silver River, and other current instances (function, Skills used, etc.)
Really necessary skills your squadmates wait from a veno are:
    purge (at least lvl10)
    amplify (at least lvl10)
Lending hand (better to be lvl 11)
That's about all. Rest is optional for squad, but can say 99,99999% no one will ever require more as a must. Even bramble is not that necessary because it ruins mystics' self crit buff and some ppl complain boss kills itself while squad is waiting ppl who died.

    - What are the main skills
Foxform, venomous scarab, lucky scarab, ironwood, noxious, soul transfusion, nova, feral concentration, bramble hood, blazing barrier, myriads (learnt on 79lvl) - those are basic you will need for yourself and make your gameplay more comfortable.

How catch that pet from morai...(where him respaw, timer, what to do)
It respawns randomly with 24hours interval, so theoretically you may happen to wait for 48 hours before it appears. But IMO, this pet is overrated. I can't imagine the situation where extra 200 digits of damage would make a significant difference for you or your squad. And damage is the only thing this pet is famous for. It's very squishy and needs expensive buffs to be used as a tank.

What are the best "free pets" around the world for ground water and sky ?
Glacial Walker from nirvana outskirts as a land pet, Petite Sawfly from Bamboo village as a flying pet. Those are the best free pets in game.

How get that quest for veno n barb?
You need lvl 100, 89 culti, elder of City of the Lost will give you the quest.

How works that quest and changes for the pets, and what pets can do it?
You need lvl 100 again. Pets which have "evolve" button in their interface can evolve and improve their stats.

There is any aoe pet or skill I can catch ?
Free pets have no aoe skills (there is actually one aoe agro skill, but it can be learnt after lvl 100, evolution and it's very weak). Aoe pet cost about 250 gold in boutique. Though its reasonableness is also questionable. Because when you are small and weak and need it the most, you have no money for it. When you are strong and rich and have money for it, you don't need it anymore.

I guess topic will be moved to the veno section (=

You have never played a veno, right? We need the same gear as every other class (Gear is the same price for all, you know?). Unless I'm missing something and GMs haven't applied a special disccount for my R999, stones, D. Orbs, etc.., but have done so for all the other venos. In addition to that, if the veno wants a boutique pet, then it's more expensive then almost every other class.

I think BMs probably get the cake though, If they are multi weapon users and want to have all weapons +10~+12, then damn.....

I think Marengo and others have answered your questions very well.

I can add that to evolve a pet, you need to do a daily quest available from the NPC at the southeast archosour corner. That quest will give you items that can be used to lvl up the pet faster, and to evolve it. So don't waste your time killing mobs to keep your pet leveld up. There is a special skill for the glaciar walker that has an AoE Aggro effect, so it makes it easier to kill a bunch of mobs.

Also, there are good skills for the pet in faction base, the same skills that hercules and the phoenix have (Extra HP, Extra attack, Reflect, extra mag defense, extra phys. defense). They cost ~30m coins each if i remember correctly. So with a free pet +~120m you can have a very decent pet. So get in a faction that has the base leveled up and you must do the base quests to get the requiered points to buy each, 30k points each skill if I remeber correctly (I'm currently upgrading game, so can't check that right now).

I recommend cheking the Venomancer section, good guides for the "evolve the pet quest" and other stuff regarding diffrent builds (HA, LA, AA), pets, etc.

    Good luck!

P.S.: Bramble works in TW and NW.

P.S. 2: There is a technique to open up meridians... I used one that allowed me to open up the ones in my veno very fast, but when I applied it to my alts, it didn't work <.< Check this video, friends have told me it works for them (there are other videos about that. Though some say it's just luck...): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmMt-hw5EeY

you don't need gear to fortify into feral and purge someone. ofc, if you want to do more than that in pvp, you'll need better.

But like g16 Nirv +5 set is fine for near everything pve-wise. Especially if you add some vit or actually do primal stuff.

I think when "economy class" was mentioned, it was meant as "venos take less damage because they are a support class and when soloing, they have pets that can tank for them, thus reducing the repair costs from anything they do, whatever gear they own"

Depends on your purpose in fact. If you play 'seriously', of course, gear costs the same. + pet. + supplies. + your role (maybe you are the strongest player in your fac and you are always frontline on TW). But if you are in BH mode and mostly go with squad in not too endgame instances like UP or FSJ, requirements for a veno are not strict. They expect purge, amp and maybe chi pass to good dd. DDing is not compulsory. Besides you don't have that much time to DD between shapeshifting and debuffs casting. You can be full vit compensating your defence and HP loss due to gear and no one will care. Full vit and full magic veno amplify and purge absolutely similarly.
While going to a dungeon with poorly geared and full vit psy, archer, wiz is a bit another story xD You are supposed to DD and if you don't dd, you literally do nothing. Veno is in profitable position here: she can do her veno job in any gear. On the other hand, 1 veno is enough for a squad, while 1 DD isn't usually enough. Good DD will find a squad without big troubles. But only after formidable investing into armor and into char in general. Choice is yours, opportunities are yours.
