Broken class.

Duskblade most broken class: no way to avoid their CC skills.
AD and pots only last for so long before they can do again
their damage is off the charts
their CC can bypass weap proc puri
there's no genie skill or any skill to avoid this.
WTF pwi?
ok so the way i see it, this is just another one of pwi way to pull in money, they did it with sins and still do it. just DB is their main target (ATM)
way it works for them. make a class overly broken, in PVP let it be able to kill without even trying really. people would have to gear up(spending a lot of $) to catch up-enable a fair fight if not just last longer vs this class*db*. and when PWI sees that people are caught up and can survive this class. they then break it more, either by adding more CC/Dmg or a way to avoid negative status (like tidal).
only classes i see have much chance vs this class are the Psy and sin. psy sos and sin tidal are the only skills thus far i've seen stopped DB for a moment in their cc combos.
this nerf for crit damage that is suppose to be coming out, is going to affect mage classes a lot more than sins/dbs. since they have way higher % of critting and ZC'in. not to mention DB already have a skill to lower range and crit damage. so since most mages relay on a lucky crit for the kill.(mystics included)-lucky break only last for so long and with a nerf in it's damage, there's not going to be a 1 shot...so who is this nerf really for?? is it to help make these classes that already stand out even more stronger or what? i really dont understand this logic pwi/pwc Has going..

Its pretty obvious isnt it?
Duskblades are oppressive as fk in small fights...
And in big fights it only takes like 4-5 Stormbringers to make the game completely unplayable for the opponent cuz they are just stuck 24/7...
Just charging for full +12 gear wont win you the game anymore, but if you reroll a completely new class and charge that one for full +12 gear you are set! At least until the next classes get released Im sure. And there's plenty of idiots that do it so hey, turns out its a pretty smart move... Too bad it drains the fun out of every single fight for the people fighting those classes, but those people arent paying so its k. ^-^0 -

just about right yeah, totally ruins the game though but oh well0 -
Yes Duskblades are broken. I still love to fight them and you are able to beat a duskblade...they just have to be only avg or bad players xDD (like last NW I killed a dusk with my Archer...my **** 38k base dmg nub archer..unbelievable, approx same gears btw). The good dusks wont take credit or fun in just killing easy targets again and again and if they tho then they have issues. I dont even dare laying a single finger on anyone that has only equal or worse gears then me when I'm playing dusk cause I win anyways with it.
You guys are completely going overboard with your "db is OP" debate but I still bet that 99% of all dbs still cannot utilize the maximum potential of the class (considering most are rerolls from cash nubs thats not unexpected. Why waste time to learn ur class when u can just randomly oneshot ppl? gg).
Well good for us that only bad players have max duskblades. So its not as broken as you think it is. I stay full +10 on my dusk. thats enough.0 -

How do you make those arguments? xD
A mage with 30% crit gets a damage nerf on 30% of his attacks, a sin/db/archer with 80% crit gets a damage nerf on 80% of his attacks, how do you go from there to "this is a nerf to mages"? xD
But I do agree the amount of CC DB have is just crazy, adding the fact they are quite tanky from ranged attacks doesn't make it easier...0 -

You claim dbs are played by bad players but your faction always focus UltimeciaXHL2's db first. It must be because this db is played by a good player and he is a threat.Stupidity at its finest :
"Deity sin vs Josd Dusk -> Dusk wins.
Josd sin vs deity dusk -> Sin wins by far."

Not sure what you mean, but mage classes should have higher base damage...
You focus too much on having to rely on a crit for a kill, it goes the same way for a sin/db relying on crit/zc for a kill (no idea what archers rely on to get a kill xD)... At least I know I see some depressing numbers on my sin if it isnt a zc...
But all this is simple math, if it is a crit damage nerf, having higher crit chance will get you an higher damage nerf, and with this I am not trying to say mages don't get a damage nerf on their (already low) crit, just that it isn't mages who will get the short end of the stick0 -

you did your math just now and i'm not saying you're wrong, but the way i see it (though it may not be right) but since everyone is giving their opinion i shall also. a class that can have 100% crit for example. mystic. i'm not sure how this nerf will affect this skill but since it is 100%... anyways, mage classes in general, lets just say there crit would be nerfed by 50% just for example.. ok so you're in 1v1 and maybe get off 3 lucky crits(which is nerf) doesnt kill the target... then you have a sin/db going at you. sure their crit damage is also nerfed and maybe by more. but since they crit and zc so many times it still all stacks and fast. only classes might not fully be affected by this new damage IMO are classes like barbs and bm that are HA. i mean the sin/db would have to work harder to kill them since more phy def... but on the other hand, i still see it as their damage going to be the same somewhat.. also sins are getting damage buffed... so whats the point really??0 -
@notanyfox#3644 Dont know. I did not yet participate in any mass-PvP with that dusk around but I guess its cause he is squishy and ultrageared. the avg crisis guy gets easily oneshot by a single zerkcrit of any sort.0

Your crit chance won't be nerfed, your rage damage will... Meaning if you deal 1k damage, a crit would have a nerf on that 1k rage damage.
My point is, if you have 100% crit chance, you get a nerf in all your attacks, if you have no crit chance, you get no nerf to your damage, or in other words, more crit higher nerf, less crit lower nerf...
Hope it was easy enough to understand0 -
I understand it pretty well What I'm trying to say is that if your only way to kill is nerfed, it is nerfed. Others can be nerfed even more, but it doesn't help you deal higher damage on them. Is it still enough for str dex classes to kill is another question. Looks like pretty much enough. Will it make you feel better that they deal less damage and kill and you do less and don't kill?0

Well, my last post was directed at banibe...
But if you understood me well, lets not waste any longer both our times xD0 -
