    This kinda comment is exactly why this is happening because too many people were bring a army of alts therefore those who actually tried to have fun and actually put work in for their nation to hit 1st or 2nd got **** amount cuz too many alts dickriding the total supply tokens a nation will earn

    Yea we all been there when we needed our summerwinds, seal of wars for OUR OWN GEARS and just NW pot you know legit ESSENTIALS my oppinion is when people just did it as a way to turn a profit is where it got out of hand because they never eventually stopped sponging im happy about this aleast now being 1st place nation doesnt mean I have 25k~30k credits and walk away with just 200s

    I bet the rewards are worthwhile for everyone. Players need to be incetivized first to take part, then to actively involve in commander choosing.

    Main factions will elect their own bidder, one which has access to faction funds. Then, said factions will discuss offline on how the voting takes place, who gets eleceted commander. So then, the commander will need to give the 50% extra rewards to key battles where he sets enterring criteria to match those stats that key players from said factions have. The 25% would be for situations where normal people need to help out, me thinks.

    In order for all of that to even work out long term, rewards need to be on a whole other scale compared to normal nw.

    This would normally mean that each faction has a weight in the election process, based mostly on its mlitary/strategic prowess. Only strong/versatile people will be able to be a significant (indirect) part of election process (and big chunk of rewards). Again, if the rewards are worthwhile, then it will maybe cause a PVP mania in each server, where people try to prove their prowess in order to get a bigger chunk. Who knows...

    Its basically buying someone's position as commander, so basically the most desperate/tryhard people will get the commander position, and very possibly trolls since each vote costs over 3 mil coins.

    Now Im 100% sure Im not going to listen to the commander ^^ lets hope the drawbacks arent too bad and we'll be able to play our game while the commander is doing stupid stuff

    PWI just screwed NW for me. I loved going there alone. I had the posibility to chose what battle I wanted, to afk when I wanted, to do what I wanted on the battle field. Now Im forced to listen to some commander and it would get me a headache if I get a **** one that would others do things they cant. Exactly like those WS squad leaders that asigne me to do water pav even that 2 min earlier I told them I can do 4 pavs but water is not one of those.
    And even if the commander knows what is doing still I like doing things in my way. Alone I dont have to answer to anyone if I did mistakes.

    It was said mustiple times commander has very low control over players.
    Maximum he can do is restrict entering for certain classes with certain SF on limited (7 or 10?) number of lands. Will be applied on some key territories only.    ​​

    @bloodedone87 Yes the commander will have a direct link to your headphones and will be bellowing at you to go here do this do that. If you do not listen he/she will be able to reach through their monitor out of your monitor and slap you in the face. Due to their omniscient powers they also will be able to boot you from the NW if you fail in any way to perform to their expectations, and if you afk to take a dump they will be able to reset your dailies so you have to do them all over again as a punishment for being a disobedient servant.

    Or perhaps we could all wait and see what they can/cannot do before whining/rq'ing/throwing our toys out of the pram?

    Reset my dailies you saying?
    Hell ya. I wanted. And im serious about it. I really do want my dailies to be reset. More exp, more prestige and influence from Morai quests, double primordial bloods and star chart items from primal dailies. It would be a dream come true for me.

    I know everyone has authority issues but overall i think this is a good idea. Having someone with an overall picture and strategy would make for a more interesting war than just a bunch of little groups acting independently.

    Besides everyone refusing to listen to the commander and doing whatever they want (while totally welcome to, it is a game after all) will basically have a disadvantage to other servers that have a population that are willing to work together. Unless the disorganized server is lucky and rich this means the people who refuse to coordinate will be stuck with a lesser reward.     ​​

    You get one free ballot for doing the quest at NW recruiter. Not sure if that quest is repeatable every week but I would assume so. The coin cost is just if you want to stuff the ballot box for your choice of commander.

    I play on Ether blade and all I know is that no one bothered to nominate anyone, therefore no votes meaning no commander xD

    I'm sure there's going to only be like 80 people in each nation tommorow so like it even matters.

    Someone giving commands on what to do, to someone else who spent thousands of dollars on this game, is a stupid idea.
    Having them limit who can enter, and how much merit is received is stupid as well. Have people fight, get nothing, while his friends sit back and get all the merit. If the nation never wins, all the blame is on 1 person. Commander refuses to be commander anymore, then what? PWE has another poll to see who is the next commander (should be handled in a timely manner, on PWE standards, 2 months at least). PWE cant even get the faction icons straightened up. TW map resets are never on time. This is a **** storm waiting to happen. You can't have another player telling other players how to play.

    He can only buff a land for extra merit (it costs some points for commander, he can't do it endlessly), he cannot take any earned merit from anyone.    ​​
