New to PWI

1) Is the game active and worth playing? active in pvp and pve? yes is active can get both pve and pvp but not alot open world pvp

2) how much time will it take to copup with current player this depends on you really what goals are and if want frm or cash

3) which class should i start as my main character to be honest i want a class which dont need much to spend on or suggest me a class (gamestyle dont matter)agin depends your style Cleric nd support been what ive enjoyed and times hted.sins seem be a cheap clss squishy at first but powerhouses end game
plus minuses everyclass

4) where can i download manual update patch (it take more time in patcher :S) think with arc this option was eliminated let others answer

5)any tip/advice/anything u want to tell somone new to this game hehe :P Join a guild ask questions if guild you try they arent willing talk as if they just strted also find another

7) what timezone is this game on? servers in usa tz's and one euroupe in its TZ

if have ts3 or vent feel free message ill give info we can talk been 6 years ups downs i still enjoy most the time.

Being cheap and wanting to PvP you'll probably want a support class such as cleric, venomancer, or maybe even stormbringer or mystic.
Pick the server where you have the lowest ping or/and where your timezone match best. The different timezones are: PST, EST, CET.​​

• I'd say it's pretty active and can be worth playing. PVE-wise, at lower levels, it can be a pain as there aren't as many new players but there's a lot of support you can get from other people with guilds. PVP, you have a lot to catch up on, so it will take a few months before you can achieve to get the bare minimum for it (gear-wise).
  

2) how much time will it take to copup with current player

• I'd say playing around 3-6 hours daily can get you from lv. 1-100 within a month or two. But then you'd have to rebirth so that will be another few months. Overall, the game offers a lot of dailies (which you can get sick of) that gives away EXP and coins.

• I'd go with either Nightshade classes. Stormbringers can solo instances most other classes can't at lower levels, while Duskblades have a unique play style to their advantage. But I'd also suggest Mystics, Venomancers and Clerics.

• Unfortunately doesn't exist anymore. Stupid idea with Arc.

• Twilight Temple is PST, not sure about others.

• It as a specific European server and mostly International servers.

• Don't be afraid to ask questions and be a "noob", plenty of people will help you out. There are guilds that support lower levels as long as they're active.

I would disagree, the amount of coin/gold/money required to outfit an aps toon to farm tt/lunar solo used to be in the 500m~800m range, probably closer to 1b now due to gold prices required for r8.

You could get a herc for 100~300m, get the skills for it and buff it up and solo the above instances yourself. A sin might take 40~60 minutes to solo 3-3, a veno might take 30~100 minutes. Depending on how well refined your gear and herc is.

Full warsong - just need enough gear to solo your pav, rest is farming with a squad so don't need OP gear there.

If going the aps route to farm things, str-aps barb, bm give more survivability for similar costs.

To OP: All classes once they reach endgame gear can solo any instance, some just have a lower cost, others have a faster time, at the end of the day if you are going to be stuck playing one character for 1~5 hours a day, might as well pick one that you like. Cost to making them endgame differs slightly and the road leading to it is painful, but can be done.

There are quite a few things now in pwi that you can get for free if you do daily quests and spend time on them. If you are unsure about classes, read up on them using the pwi wiki, and http://ecatomb.gdevtalk.net/pwi.ecatomb.net/skill.html. Try out each class until lvl 20~50. See which one you like and stick with that one. You can create 8 classes on one account, and it takes 3 days i believe to delete an account (you can stop the delete process at any time during those 3 days).

Best advice i get for games, try it out, read up on it, ask questions, play more. If you like it, stick with it, if not ditch it.​​
