swimming not meant for humans and elves

I was afraid of this, and it happened. New area = water, the video on twitch, that person was moving super fast through the water. Us normal mortals = super slow in water. Any way to allow water pets/flyers for that primal world at least?

How do people deal with swimming issue? it takes up quite a chunk of time, even if you fly to the npc and drop down, float back up, get on flyer, move to next location.

If this topic is already being discussed (not a suggestion), could you link the topic and close it, i will post things there.

its literally the first quest chain you get for the new water area, on the 2nd leg of it maybe, guessing it takes Shifting Sky 1, pink quest chain started at teleporter in Kirin town

Just to add to your thread title.... it's also not meant for untamed. Venos and barbs pay coin and spirit early on for a "Swimming Mastery" passive that has been broken and never fixed since the game started.

Now I dont have the swimming book or the turn in quest for Shifting Sky II wonder how to fix this glitch since Im already shifting sky II. Maybe the npc the book comes from. Tried a few npcs ppl said but alas there was nothing there for me. The day I finished the quest for Shifting Sky I , I got a pop up at end but no book in bag or the continuation quest ppl told me they got for Shifting sky II. I also waited yo see if it would repop up when I hit shifting sky II but nothing:( Please help!!

Maaaan I wish that book was available to lower boundary levels. I've been doing the daily for the opening of the last chunk of Primal, but I'm only just about to hit Astral VIII. Still got 2 more levels to get through before I get to Shifting Sky DX

Swimming always annoys me, it's like slogging through jello, even with the swimming passive increase.
I often stare at the old, broken, swimming passive for Untamed, lamenting how neglected and unappreciated Venos are.
My actual complaint is that the new swimming passive only works in Primal. Really rather lame, considering all the other passives are just, you know, normal.
I don't really mind the new Primal swimming area, it's kinda pretty, and crab people! Really you don't spend much time in there, so it's no big deal.
