"Map data out of phase with the server's" in Primal Story Mode

Kitty got this issue when trying to do Heroic Warsong-daily on her sage vit. narb. Kitty entered Story Mode via NPC in Tree Raccoon Village and got that notice right when inside Story mode. Kitty's barb is at MS II atm, btw.
Quest list doesn't show Heroic Warsong in available quests and when Kitty goes to NPC she should get it from, the NPC only shows "Back to Primal World"-option. And in Primal World that same NPC shows grey quest marker above it's head but no quests(thus can't even enter Story Mode there).

Kitty's not 100% sure if the same issue has been earlier on the same char(probably, but Kitty hasn't just noticed). Anyway, ish there any ways to get rid of this problem? Those 250 vitae per day would help a lot at reaching MS V(which Kitty wants to reach to +7 her HA-sin's dags)

Btw, Vanilla-search shucks as it gave no results while google gave lots of old threads but doesn't have them archived anymore.

The map data issue has popped up for me since last patch, it pops up any time you go to story mode. I believe this has to do with the partial patch we recieved (ex: accessory socket stones but no primal world update). This shouldnt affect your ability to do heroic warsong though. Have you checked that kitty has done the primal quest chain up to the point of heroic warsong and has the correct sky level?

Thanks for reply! Kitty had indeed forgotten there's a side-chain for it and it's started at Alexander. Got it started naow.

Hi Kitty, Hi all... am a primal addict myself and like sontzu I didn't had any problems in Story mode. Even Heroic Warsong is available. Shouldn't reply on this thread (since the famous Kitty wrote about the side-chain) but hey, people like to read threads on this 'vanilla' forum

I suspect that serverside the Primal World Storyline map has had an expansion but someone forgot to update the client with the same expansion. It doesn't seem to affect the dailies so it's no big deal. I have the same issue on all my toons that go primal - the error happens once you switch to the Storyline map.

this happened a while ago too. that message would pop up whenever you entered a place that had it's own map outside of the main one. heaven/hell/morai. i dont remember if anyone said what caused it but i do remember that it had no effect on the game.

I suspect that its detecting a difference in the update in the main map and primal world. There is a primal world map expansion coming, i think we got the main map goodies last major patch, but they did not include updating the primal map on the server, causing the message.

Just my assuming tho xD

Glad youre on your way to being a hero now kitty. I forget about the side quest every alt. Then groan a bit when i have to do the whole thing for the tenth time.

we used to get the same message for heaven and hell areas as well
