Since you're the only one posting atm, not likely. Feel free to check out the sticky threads in the Technical Support forum for information on fixing your issues, or posting the info we'd need to help you find the cause.

    yes,
    eu server ping 50ish,
    west coast ping 200 ish,
east coast ping 5000, but at least they respond to ping this time. and i log and for a good period of time i can actually stay on server.
inb4 getting blamed for it myself.

we had just 3 ppl posting when servers were down last time..
more and more people realize that they might as well post on the wall of a bathroom stall for support.
in the end all they get is 'your client is borken', 'your net is broken' 'your pc sux' and 'pwi is not to blame, it is routing' as if it were the obligation of pwi-cutomers to find out what international node makes problems and then contact the responsible parties to ask them to fix it... bizzare.

If you actually posted traceroutes and information about your network layout and connection, I'd be able to help.

If you just want to whine, you're wasting everyone's time.

I'm more than happy to help, but you're not giving me anything to be able to do so.

your own investigaton already came to the conclusion that east coast servers have a routing problem, especially for eu-players, my traceroutes would give you the same results.
but it seems that you feel attacked! by no means i ment you. you actually try to help people. but it is the job of pwi to fix it, not yours, not mine, nor the job of any other player. so i QQ with the faint hope of improvement :'(

Usually it's a common bottleneck in the trunk lines across the atlantic. It's not PWE's issue by any means, it's the nature of the internet in general. There isn't anything you, or PWE can do about that.

Personally, when they opened the EU server, they should have offered compensation for anyone switching to it. I'd play on the East servers except that I'd have to start completely over. They didn't exist when I started playing though.

I didn't feel attacked, but QQ'ing in the forum is pretty silly since the very limited PWE staff can't be bothered to spend time here.

Your connection looks completely erratic, but probably isn't timing out. Hops 4 & 5 might just be ignoring ICMP requests like hop 12 & 13. From my viewpoint, it seems like your ISP is to blame for what looks like an erratic connection. I strongly recommend getting monitoring software, such as PingPlotter which I mentioned in this thread http://perfectworld.vanillaforums.com/discussion/comment/12598988/#Comment_12598988

Then monitoring whichever server you play on pinging every 5 seconds for about 30 minutes. Then save and upload the pp2 file which can be examined for a much more detailed analysis of your problems. Because it's not entirely clear at the moment if I'm being honest.

i keep on getting the problems in between 8 am server time and 5 pm server time, so i assume work is being done on the servers or something, ever since the last maintenance i've been having this problem, i can't get in game, or get dc'd with a ping rising trough the roof.. And no its not my pc, i am running on an imac and did speedtest, 227 mb per sec. i am playing perfectly fine before 8 am server time, right after that during office hours (coincidence ?) i get the mayor ping, dc's, lag spikes and i am getting tired of it

That's great and all, but you failed to provide us with any kind of information we could use to assist you.
