Doesn't work for me

I have the same problem, and I've read your guide which says at first "Talk to the Elder" but on the thousand time already, the Elder has gone NOTHING to say, everybody right above me ^^^
just said that, Elder has got nothing to tell me. So how should I start? Neither this quest, nor the other quest line.
