From July 2008:
so here is what im looking forward too :P

1) OMG NO MORE SKILL DELAY
2) Hopefully a more dedicated GM staff with some personality ...looks promising so far :)
3) More controlled economy..i know that will big a huge job for the GM's but if they can pull it off the game will be amazing :)
4) When they give "updates" to the game have the actual gameplay be updated...not the item mall :p

25% of expectations met.
I'm hated by former friends, entire factions, PWE, and people I've never met before. I'm hated on servers I've never logged onto.

... and I honestly wasn't even trying.

Enrage has nothing on me.

So, which one of the 4 was met then? Because I don't see any of them.

Something to look forward to is working events.
Maybe in 7 years we can make another thread and then see if the expectation was met.
    Soon™
    Well, maybe later, semi-retired.

@1) The only reason why my skills are delayed is the little 10k+km cable between Germany and California. Use macros to avoid the prob. On Morai server I've 20-35ms ping, logging in and logging out is way faster and skills are never delayed.

@3) In comparison to other F2P MMOs, the gold market is very stable. In comparison to other F2P MMOs PWI gives you also most freedom. Freedom to be stupid included. Even freedom to QQ about your own stupidity in forum. Market could be better of course - because the F2P community got used to be able (or almost) to keep up with the big Cash Shoppers. I agree that we need more farmable and tradable content. Even the P2Wers would benefit.

@4) We got many updates which affected the gameplay over the years. I liked most of them, PvE-wise (many even PvP-wise). PvP-wise sins and new classes are obviously too strong at the moment.

Absence of quests and repetitive dailies is one of the main features of of pwi.

So huge size of game files for so small quantity of interesting information.

Better to play in RPG than in such MMO.

Tbh, i would have expected that someone who wrote 1,127 posts in a game forum of a game he/she doesn't like, likes repetitive stuff.

Its a game I see nothing more they can add to it.People spend and spend and spend and spend on this game for what?A game you cant go pro in to gain sponsorship and fame to get your money back..its a bad investment and proves ignorant teens-late 20 year olds have no intrest of leaving the back bed room in moms house lol.

Your derisive statement is contradictory as those who can afford to dump any real amount of money on this game would already be out of, as you put it, "the back bed room in moms house".

It's far more likely that those in that scenario are the free players who aren't dumping any sort of monetary investment into this game, which further destroys the point you're attempting to make.

If someone's successful enough to consider dumping over a thousand dollars every other week into a hobby as something that's no big deal, odds are they're far more successful than you are and it also means they're fully entitled to spend their money as they see fit.

After all, people spend plenty on movies every year and once you exit the theater that's 2 hours of your life gone as well as the costs for the movie tickets and the overpriced snack foods that don't actually fill you and that you'll still want to eat a real dinner after.

There has been a lot of substantial changes to the gameplay since 2008.
