Archo problems?

Just went to log in and all west servers were at 2k ping.

For the last 30mins ive been at constant 22k ping and hardly moved with a 10 sec delay from what im doing to it actually happening. A lot of others in the faction having the same problem.

Is this just a localized problem as many in the game are having no problems at all.

    I've had some issues with the international hub in LA recently, but not having any troubles today.

    In-game ping is currently 252.

    East Servers (at least DW) had massive lag and dc today too x.x for about 5-10min

    We were able to figure out that a (apparently major LA) hub was having issues. http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1753121.

    If you have problems with DW again, try doing what was said to be done in that thread. Make a new thread about the problem. Sylen or I will attempt to assist you, even if you are unable to fix the problem, at least you'll know what's causing it.

    I blame phones. The internet felt more stable before phones rose to prominence. However, that is just my bias against overuse of phones. In reality aside from the rise of phones there was also the rise of high speed connections, Youtube, Twitch, and lots and lots of online games (including on phones). There was an article I read back in August of 2014 where it was stated that something like 40% of the structure of the underlying web is in need of major upgrades. This article came out after the Time-Warner Cable net blackout. This hub is no exception and is probably due for a serious hardware overhaul.

    Edit: Also, while the word hub keeps getting thrown around, a common thing amongst IT people; I just want to clarify that what we're talking about is routers and switches. I don't even think anyone uses hubs anymore. They were lazy communication devices.

    I don't know but since yesterday I keep dc'ing after few minutes every time I log in. Pissing me off.

    I classify this as iirelevant since you dc every few minutes normallyb:avoid
