Drop rates for items?

Does the drop rate percentage for items, specifically dq items, decrease as the character increases in level? It seems I get almost nothing but some coins even after a hundred kills when the real drop rate should be about 10%. b:thanks

    Yup. The greater your level is above a monster, the lower its drop rates become for you.

    I'm just bored and looking at older posts. I see this one, then something came to mind. This was a legitimate question with a legitimate answer, but then I see the name "kingkongdong" and I lost it.
