User Interface - Strange UI element on the screen

Since the expansion, I've had this strange UI element on my screen. At first I only noticed it when I had one character logged in, but now I see it for all of them. I don't really know how to describe it so I'm attaching a screen shot with the item circled in red. I don't know what it is, or how it got there. I cannot move it, click on it, or otherwise interact with it in any way. If I resize my screen, it does move, seemingly randomly. At first I just had one little edge of it to the right of the screen, so I didn't even notice it right away, but now it's right in my field of vision.

Any idea what this is or how to get rid of it? I opened a support ticket and they referred me here.

Also, sorry if someone already posted something about this, I tried searching, but since I have no idea what this thing is, i really don't know what to search for.
