Level 4 Apothecary

I have fully maxed level 3 apothecary, and according to everything I've read online the Arch Elder is supposed to have a quest for me to get level 4, but he doesn't. Does anyone know why? Or do I get it from someone else?

    I figured it out apparently the NPC you buy the books from has the books theres just no quest anymore

    The quest is only to locate the NPC who sells the level 4 and 6 books, and isn't required to upgrade the skill. You may have done it long ago and not remembered it.

    I think that quest is the one where you go to the NPC outside Dreamweaver area, Huajen. 618, 389 coordinates. Been a really long time since then, just went with the Apothecary quest for lvl 50, since I think that's the one.

    I doubt I did it a while ago because I just started leveling my apothecary. I just went to the npc and he had the books for sale I didn't have to do the quest

    Maybe this changed with the update?

    Since before Eclipse you could start your crafting skills at level 5 was it? Now it's 20-something to learn Skill Level I. They might have changed the later levels, too.

    Apothecary has never been through questing. Levels 4 and 6 need a book, you can buy from an NPC near Dreamweaver Port. Lvl 8 requires a book that drops from some bosses. The elders direct you to that npc via a quest. It's been that way for well over 2 years.

    Craftsman, Blacksmith and Tailor requires a quest that requires you to make a few two star items.
