Unplanned Shutdown ????

Was this Harshlands only?

What gives ? Any info ? Will the servers be turned back on, then shut down later for planned maintenance ?

    Okay I just found out what happened:


    GM1 - Hey, everyone, I stopped off and bought a replacement coffee machine....one sec......(shuffling noise).....uh...uh.....Okay its plugged in. Now she just needs to warm up."

    Couple mins later

    GM1 - So who wants a brew?

    GM2 - Did you just unplug that blue cord and plug the coffee machine in there? (pointing at red wall socket)

    GM1 - Yeah.....oh **** ....



    EDIT - what saddens me the most is that we had an unplanned server shutdown and 8 players seem to care

    i think it's more that most people are all like: great... another pwi ** up lets all go play other games til it's fixed..

    ..rather than hanging around forums being bored til the server goes up again

    so hey sparkie got a bright idea for you, why don't you make a simple program that will check when the servers are down and alert you instantly... it really wouldn't be that hard, would take 10 minutes max to program something like that...

    It was a planned maintenance that we needed to do quickly. It should be back up by 6PM PST. My apologies for no warning.

    Edit: This is just Harshlands only.

    It would be really nice if you guys could at least have the decency to give us a heads up as soon as you know **** like this. I mean really, an hour goes by before you realize that you're doing maintenance? How stupid is that?

    Or even acknowledge issues in a timely manner. I mean, nothing was ever said anywhere when the TT maps fell over yesterday, or when they were brought back up today.


    Although, on one hand, you're stating exactly how much the company cares about the game, and it's player base. Which is to say, you don't.

    6pm to what server? Its 8pm to Harshlands.
    Servers: Archosaur(PvE US West) and Harshlands (PvP US East)
    Chars: Viktorian(100 2Rb Celestial Demon BM) PurpleHealz (100 Celestial Sage Cleric) DagsAway (95 Assassin)
