New Form Quest isnt there

I am wondering if it is still possible to do the New Form quest for Venomancer? The elder of the Lost city does not have the quest for me, i am lvl 100 with demon fox form. My friend has the same problem.

I have searched forums for this problem and I have not yet found a solution. Sending ticket directed me to posting here.

I made both (veno and barb) using this to guide me and worked. But, i saw many posts at forum about some issues if you reborn before do this quest. It seems after reborn you can't complete it anymore, but i can't tell you for sure that once i did both before reborn came to game.

Yes I am reborn that might be the problem. However, my friend who has the same problem I don't think she is reborn. Also thanks for the guide, but its not that I am having trouble completing the quest, its that the elder doesn't have the starting quest. It will be very sad if I have to buy the item from the boutique to ever get spirit fox form, because I don't think I would have 30 dollars to spend on just a new skin... ^_^'

You're not just getting a new skin... you're getting no drop in mana pool in foxform and a 6 second buff that decreases incoming crit rate, which while not quite as impressive as the 35 chi per cast that sages get in addition to the no drop in mana pool, is still useful.

Pity the poor demon barbs, who effectively only get the crit buff, since they already have the no decrease in weapon damage in tiger.

Mayfly, yes that is true. But I do think 30 dollars is not a good trade-off compared to doing a quest, no? 30 dollars is around 80m ig and can get me a piece of good armor NV3. Or, the other way around, 80m to buy a new skill? I also consider that excessive. I can probably get some other demon skills that will be more beneficial than fox form.

Im having same problem cant get quest from elder he has nothing .. contacted arc and they have no answer for me i did however tell them if its a issue with having done RB before the quest then it needs to be stated in the questline or somewhere, must be done before RB. And i also told them 30 gold for nether essence is rediculas.

i did panda form for my barb today he is first rb and had no problem getting the quest. you have to be celestial sage/demon to start that quest.

You don't need to be Celestial Sage/Demon - in fact there is no cultivation requirement to take the quest itself (though you do need Aware of the Myriad/Void to learn the skills). I am able to see the quest on my rebirthed 100 character as well. Sorry that it isn't much help, I'm not too sure if there are any other requirements for the quest itself other than being level 100+. I've heard a few people have issues with picking it up and I can only think that perhaps they may have completed part of the quest already. I'll ask around and see if anyone I know had a similar issue.

EDIT: I tried on my rebirthed level 98 venomancer just to check the level requirements and she doesn't have the quest. I'm not sure what level you are but it seems that your current level does need to be 100-105, regardless of what your all-time highest level is.
