Are DQ worth anything now?

I'm returning to the game. Noticing there is no more dq rewards system and dq are 1 coin each. Is there any thing beneficial to be had regarding dq?

I know this is a cash shop type game but still..

Seriously they are worth 1 coin and can expand your bank.

Also, needed for basic flyer, can not forget that one.

Not anymore, you're awarded a basic flyer without DQ at an earlier level in Celestial Vale now.

Still useful if you do Dragon Quest, but the Dragon Quest unlock quest (Love of Dragon) seems to have gone missing.

The value in themselves is negligible.

However you can get some items of moderate(?) value by doing the Dragon Quest(s) itself. Those include mounts, some not-so-bad armor/weapons, and Dragon cases which are like lucky boxes with Shards, Oracles, Authentic Works, Scrolls, some gear, Mirage Stones, and a few other minor things depending on the level and case you pick.

Value wise : anywhere from 50-150(?) dq items per Dragon Order you can earn up to 20k+ (if you are lucky in a chance box with an Oracle or similar). This is all small change, but percentage wise still a decent net gain. (Given gear/item price changes you may actually loose money, but at least you get xp/sp as a minor consolation, and you certainly wont loose much)

Silver Dragon Orders are also used to participate in that Tuesday-Only "Temple of the Dragon" Quest event.

True - the amount of work to earn the Dragon Orders to earn anything probably isn't worth the effort.

BUT it is still more than the base value of the DQ items on their own.

PLUS - I have often picked up around 100k of coin and other (sold) drops while grinding for DQ items to use IN QUEST (i.e not selling my DQs when they were worth something.)

Also True - if you are above L80 you probably wont find much use for the DQ reward items other than attempted resale.

I am NOT outright recommending doing the DQs. It is an alternative for minor gain at the expense of time.

However the EXP and SP rewards of doing the DQs is quite a nice amount depending on quest level. Again there are other ways to gain exp, but this is entirely free (unless you'd rather pay than kill 40-60 mobs) and takes a great deal less time than World Quest flight wise.

PS. As your just coming back, you may have noticed that gear sell prices have also been reduced greatly. Check to see if you can get more coin selling the chi gems the item decomposes into. Its peanuts, but if you want to earn every little bit extra you can ceratinly find it.

People abused botting and made a lot of coin overnight for little work. This had a horrible effect on PvE servers (on PvP people could kill bots) to the point that you couldn't buy gold in the AH anymore. Too much coin being generated -> too many bids -> not enough people selling gold -> prices of items went up.

Now that DQ were nerfed, the economy is slowly recovering: gold went down, some item prices are going down.
    This was a good change.

In case you don't know about botting: PWCN introduced a botting system in-game because China suffers from extreme third-party botting. So, perhaps, they wanted to at least allow people who don't use third-party programs be able to bot too. That's just my assumption. Botting is still useful for AFK leveling (gaining EXP) or lazy questing.

Well to be honest questing isn't hard at all nor does it take a long time, everything is rather easy and fast, number of mobs that you need to kill have been dropped by alot and rewards for turning them in is higher and for example i just got my stormbringer to lvl 95 today with just 2-3 hours a day of playing it BH CS and couple of quests, now however i have no quests but dailies and BH with CS alone is alot of XP, not to mention now i can join order in morai.
The point im trying to make is that you don't need bot AT ALL for leveling, even for high levels, my mystic is 104 103 104 currently and i never bothered with bot.
But reducing DQ item worth to 1 coin is good change but not the best.Simply because if they would remove the bot's instead they could keep the DQ item price as well as DQ system because it was fine before bot's turned up.
Now how to deal with the third-party program users they could just put some System messages about those beeing banned if caught, then actually ban some for like 2 weeks and such, just to show that GM's are serious and they won't have to babysit everyone because people will be afraid of getting banned and will just stop.
