Wanted order quest glitch

Evening all,

so i tried doing the wanted order quest, get as far trying to catch the roving bandit and thats where it all goes wrong.

i am pretty much wearing the bandit when pressing the shackle button and whilst that does the cooldown thing, it doesn't catch him. i've tried a couple of times and get nowhere with it.

Support said they'll look, but i wondered if anyone else has had this issue?

I can always capture him, but my issue w that quest is every time I complete it I have to log out and back in because my auto path stops working.

i dont even know how to find him. the "instructions" just have an x on a map that makes no sense to me. i wander all over wanderlust peak and never see him. How do you guys find him?

What u need to do is simply go to the place marked with "X" in the map what causes your minimap to glow blue (it means u r cold). walk around the place until it turns yellow (it means you r hot). when it starts glowing red it means u r really hot. walk around until (dont get out of the red zone) a message pops up. confirm it and the roving bandit will appears. right click the item and capture him.
