ye i actually wanted to make a better title but hey, cant rly make that sound any more nice lol

so, i really do wonder why theres no threads at all about this given its not a single-case lag (actually a lot of ppl suffer from it) and has been going on for quite a while

since i guess pwi is still not aware of it/doesnt care or know what to do about it

A LOT of european players suffer from MASSIVE lag between approx 8AM-4PM PDT
and im not talking bout 10min 4k ping lags
its going on the whole timeperiod i just mentioned, with unbearable lag of perma 15k and higher, if u can even manage to log into the game during this time

so id like to know what this is all about, seeing as its clearly not a few hundred ppl's internets being crappy as f.k during "accidentally" the same time?

oh btw, it started somewhat like 3 weeks before the latest update, which was, at around middle/end of november
ever since its been lagging that bad every day during the same time (weekends the lag usually starts 2-3h earlier)
and srsly, its worked for 6yrs, so dont tell me its just too much traffic coming from europe during that time all of a sudden

i just want to know wtf is going on
kinda sux that if u want to play the game at all u have to adjust ur night/day rhythm
(at this point, if any1 feels like making smart-a.ss comments about "theres a EU server" and whatnot, just think about it urself that if u dont want to spend money on a game and played for yrs already, do u really wanna tell me ud just say "hey lets throw several yrs' work away and start all over again" (this is a rhetorical question given i know the answer to that one))

please provide one non anecdotal piece of proof, i can get you 100 euros that say there is no such bad lag
hell you didnt even provide which server or which coast you play on, except non euro, gj

step 1. take 30 seconds to read the technical support forum
step 2. reread for 30 seconds the technical support forum
step 3. wallow in shame for not doing that before making the same stupid baseless topic over and over again

Now, you can see from the start that the signal isn't great. Everything before your home router should be under 5ms.

Then you see hops 6 and 7? That's where their issue most likely is, even though it's not getting out of the gate very well on their home network.

    Start Here.

If you want to start a thread in the right forum, and provide the information I ask for, I can probably find your issue.

Well, maybe if you looked into your issue, you might be able to play.

ppl keep saying theres no lag or its just ur connection. This many ppl lagging and posting threads about it should say something. We all know the servers have been jacked lately since the expansion. A tracert will only show an issue on the network paths ur data is traveling. I can run a tracert to the server and have hops completely time out while when I use it on several other pages everything is fine.

Before maintenance last week I was getting spikes of up to 15k ping and random dc's after maint issue has been fixed (for me at least) but I have several guild mates who are now getting the massive ping spikes and constant dc's.

Many people are often affected when it's a regional router issue.
Many people are also connecting to US servers from Europe or Asia crossing overseas trunk line.
Personally, I wonder just how dim the international guys are when they complain about lag, because the nodes on either side of the ocean are always prone to being overloaded, dropping packets, and are a major source of the lag experienced.
