95+ QSM is for the Morai stuffs and is easier than the 100+ version where only those who are Mirage Sky X or better can enter.Leader of Cyanure on Valonsurma and a proud member of Vertu

Personally with all this discussion, idk how hard or easy an instance is, just that the rewards must be commensurate with the effort. Take normal quests, no one did them before the expansion, now if you want you can and you might feel its worth it because you get vastly more xp killing a tenth of the mobs in many cases.
Keep the maze as it is, sure. But the rewards need to be greatly increased, or as has been widely discussed here, no one will bother. Take the Nirvana instance as another example of extreme imbalance, same deal.
Look however at the lower level maze's. I took alts through the 70+ one. For starters I can use my main, secondly it was reasonably easy, but still ticked my charm a few times, I died a couple other times, so not a total cake walk. It still took 40mins to an hour and I needed to do it 4-5 times. After that my alts got the level 70 weapon and gear. Overall the balance is about right.
there has to be. i agree with magemerc here, this instance under-rewards for gear that is not worth it compared to our options.
this was my issue with trials; trials are a great instance and SHOULD be something factions embrace for the fun and training potential, BUT the rewards are (still) so unreasonably small that interest never grew above tepid.
yet another set of character-bound mats, so you cant farm for alts on the same account... this one thing bothers me because they are purposefully preventing in-game markets for items which we kinda need (imho).
i would imagine that PWE runs metric on their games like other game companies do and those metric get sent to devs and whatnot. they KNOW how popular instances are and they can see the level of engagement for the content they push to us. they just need to management our experience a lil better. we are not chinese and we dont play like the chinese do, most us would not mind the farming if the ratio of drops to required mats were not so unrealistic. the required mats for g16 and r9rr were pretty reasonable if you ask me. even the process of getting morai gear is pretty simple. tt and nirvana/lunar were decent as well, its just when we get to r8r and this new set of mats did the numbers get crazy and in my opinion unfair.
hard instances should be rewarding, ppl would embrace it more if the rewards were fairly distributed or at least tradeable. but it does seem like the only thing they are willing to do is place the mats in the NW forges because they are not going to make changes to parts of the game that exist in China too.0 -

Like a person that have done trials( not all of them) i can confirm they are not worth. The rewards cant compansate for the amount of time you spend there( sometimes more than 3 hours), the amount of charms and pots you use.And you will not train your char in there. Didnt learn to play my char better due to trials.
Same is Quicksand. Its a instance good for nothing for 95 + . You need over 1k mats to upgrade one piece of r8r gear and alot of fee . And to gather all the mats it will take you alot of time. And its not like FWS or TT or Lunar were you can open those instances as many times per day you want.0 -

I've done plenty of trials and i know those feels. there was in the beginning some value to running them for training as in, getting faction members to get on vent/ts3, practicing with using coordination to get objectives done, communicating to large groups. lesser geared players got some sort of experience managing their resources and working on coordination. not a unique advantage that cant be learned elsewhere but it was fun to do so with most of your faction.0 -
Doing Dungeons like the Quicksand Maze is fine if you are tight with your character and play alot.
BUT, many players are not, I am such, I am a casual player (3 or 4 times a week) and I play many characters and know them well enough but I do not know all their skills intimately. So I don't do well fighting PVP with good players with one character. I have good equipment up to R8, T2&T3 ect. but no R9.
I have trouble typing or reading the chat while doing a battle so I cant react to comments consistently (if I happen to look at chat) if the battle is hard and fast. I feel most players will not like the demand on them, not that they are lazy but they play to relax and have fun not get wound up or get your mind in a quandary about what mind twist is next. Some Hard core experienced players will love the challenge but I think those are in the minority.
I don't think PWI should give the mats away but maybe but maybe they should diversify the ways to get them besides Quicksand Maze which many players will avoid.
You all know how many factions are not really helpful when it comes to doing stuff together consistently enough so when a member need gear they get all kinds of help, LOL (no chance in most cases).
As usual PWI makes their dungeons so your character has to be PAST the level which you needed the mats to make the gear. And to make it worse those mats are now Bound so they can't be bought and sold, leaving most players to slog through levels with the best **** armor they can get.
I do like the Quicksand Maze for its ingenious methods but would like to see straight forward ways to get mats to make good gear through effort and time like the old crafting skill methods. Instead they devolve many of the mats in the game to be worthless and useless.

I LOVE MY R8R AND WANT TO UPGRADE IT. FIX THIS INSTANCE.
(for real, should be a bit more drops considering each run has to get split up.. and not many actually wanna do it since it's a decent amount of work with little payoff)
Edit: I scrolled down, checking all the threads now. One should get stickied please
Second Edit: lol I'm still not sure which one I should be farming. I thought some of the r8ey mats dropped in the 95 as well (and is a bit easier to do, hence chances for solo/duoing)... I have the confusion. But that's not as new as the instance.. soo... my ignorance is sad.0
