How do you get a forum avatar?

I somehow blew away my forum avatar and I can't figure out how to get it back. I'd like something there, even if its the default wooden face. Anyone know how?

    We used to be able to alter that via the Edit your Avatar link in the top left.... then they broke it a while back and never bothered to fix it. b:surrender
