Adv Form Quests

The issue:

You are able to take and complete the "Journey to the core" quest without having the "A new form" quest. If you complete "Journey" without having "Form" you aren't given the soulcore which can be used in the "Form" quest.

Neither my inv or the quest inv has the soulcore from completing the "Core" quest.
The "A New Form" quest asks you to complete the "Journey" quest - which is impossible as it is already been completed.

The "Core" quest should always provide the soulcore or the "Form" quest should reset the state of the "Core" quest to enable you to repeat it.

In response a post on the now closed thread
... you obviously don't read quest text. At the end of that quest the Untamed Elder -TELLS- you to visit the trainer in city of the lost to exchange that soulcore.

You do not have the soulcore - unless you have the "A new form" quest in your current list Try to actually read the post before giving a condescending answer.

    I have never done the barbarian new form quest, but have complete the venomancer one both before and after the expansion.

    Have you defeated Sanzi in Momaganon? If not, you have not completed the quest line to obtain the nether soulcore. Journey to the Core is only the first step. And no, A New Form quest is not required to obtain the soulcore... the soulcore (or the boutique item, the nether essence) is needed to complete A New Form.
