What are the 3 balls flying around?

I don't know what are the 3 lighting balls of ice and metal flying around. I don't think it's just ornamental. So... what about them?!

    Those are called Thunder (Purple) and Ice (Blue) Charges. They give certain skills better effects/add ons with different combinations of them. Check the Commanding the Storm thread in this sub forum to see the entire skill list as it stands right now and see for yourself.
