G16 vs R8.3

Hello,

i play a archer with full R8.2 armor and G16 weapon. R8.2 and R8.3 don't require stat-points and also i got much Str. Points on it. So i only have 16 str white.
Now i think about to craft R8.3.

1. if i craft r8.3 do i lost the refining and stones?
2. is it worth to craft it? vs crafting G16 (Money, stats)

    I have debated the same thing on my archer. Currently I am using my sins glass cannon gear (aps gear with dots). I am was not sure what I was going to do, but will be going with g16 all around (already have a bow). Seeing you are already r8r, I would go with reforging. The extra stat point could be quite nice. You will probably have to pay a stone fee to keep current refines but that is just a guess.
