Hello all,

So when multi clienting and I am trying to switch between two screens I get this black screen and it flickers and at times it can last for 15 to 20 seconds.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

Thanks

    Its most likely because of the graphics card or processing power in your pc.b:bye

    Okay yeah its what the guy said above but it wouldn't of hurt to also mention you can turn your graphics down a **** load to make it easier and also exit out other programs running on the computer.

    On my computer I basically can't have anything running besides pwi or it works like junk so that could be your issue gl.

    If you want to post some actually helpful information like a like to a Speccy report and a dxdiag output, we can help narrow it down for you. It could be something as simple as an incompatible video codec or outdated driver.

    You have options;

    Either;

    Rendernofocus - using the ingame console you can keep the two clients running as if you have both selected, i.e. there is no pause in streaming the display so when you switch tabs the client is 'live' so you won't get a black screen. Only disadvantage is that is can be pretty stressful on your CPU depending on your PC. This may only work windowed, can't recall.

    Windowed - run both clients in your normal resolution but windowed, when you switch tabs you shouldn't black screen, might need to move some skillbars a few inches here and there etc but its nbd and that's what I do.

    -Assuming it isn't a graphics/technical issue causing your problem.

    I am about to go to work right now but tonight I'll try windowing my clients and see if that could be a quick, temporary fix if I do have any major problems.

    System overall isn't bad, but the Intel HD 3000 GPU pretty much sucks.

    For the Speccy, I actually need the link to the published report. For dxdiag, I'll need the full report there as well, and it helps a lot if you use the CODE tags.
    What you gave me tells me almost nothing aside from very basic system details and video driver version.

    I'd also recommend more RAM (think I only saw 6Gb) as well as possibly expanding your pagefile settings. Take off all your bells and whistles of pre-loaded applications (webchatters, etc) anything that runs constant processes, etc.

    Client self-caps at 2GB so 6G is fine. I can run 8 clients on 6GB RAM and an old 480GTX.
