Exact time

Sorry if it has been said in another thread but I could not find it.

When is the exact time of the maintenance/expansion update, and do we know yet how long it is scheduled for? (even though i'm sure they could quite possibly go longer than scheduled)

    Same time as always for the start unless stated otherwise, which hasn't been the case.

    As for the end, who knows? I'd expect an extra hour at the very least considering what it is, though.

    For the ditzes among us who don't know usual maintenance time yet (somehow sob) what time is that?

    And I'm expecting two hours minimum, knowing PW. It is a lot of stuff they need to make sure isn't breaking.

    Should be from 11 PM PST - 2 AM PST, starting tomorrow night and ending early morning Wednesday. (Dec. 16-17th)

    so are you saying we don't get expansion until the 17 not the 16 as stated?

    If I weren't so lazy I'd go quote hunting for the exact thing but the word from a GM who was asked something similar one of the more recent expansions was (paraphrased) that the expansion did technically launch on the date... just that the servers weren't up for us to get to it until after the maint ended. b:chuckle

    I'm gonna put my money on 3-4 hour maintenance for the expansion. b:chuckle (actually wanna say 4-5 but I am being optimistic)

    5-6 considering all previous major updates in game. Earthguard expansion took a long time (new race). Not sure about tideborn expansion.

    I will put my bet on 24 hours, 16 start maintenance and 17 we get the servers up. That explains why the new instant 95 stones are available on 17.

    And that's just people rambling because of bad past experiences with major patches taking a lot longer than they indicated it would.
