PWI won't start

I just started playing again after a 1 year break. I click on the PWI icon and the launcher screen popped up. I then click to update the game. Everything was fine. Once it finished updating I was asked to download Arc which I did. After that finished installing I was unable to get the game to launch. When I click on the PWI icon Arc opens up. When I try to start the game through arc nothing happens. Someone on a different post said that they open it directly from the file but when I try that arc pops up and I'm back with the same problem. Can anyone help or should I just give up on the game?

Sounds like you started with a really old install.
Wipe the slate clean and completely remove PWI, then download/install via Arc.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Once you log into Arc, you should see PWI's icon at the upper left corner, do you see it? if you do, click it to launch the game, if you don't, let me know. b:victory0

I've the newest drivers and installed like 30 other games which are running OK.
I've tried reinstalling PWI and repairing it twice and it didn't helped. I've also tried running PWI with different Windows compatibility modes and as admin.0 -

I am having similar issue, runnings Windows 10 preview. Everything installed nicely and fast! (Windows 10 thus far trumps 7, 8, 8.1 and XP). All of my other games work perfectly fine. Every time I load up launcher it checks for updates then I click start you get a quick loading icon, then poof! Nothing ever happens?

@mrmarqin, sounds like security software "cleaned" your files. Exclude Arc and Client folders, then repair both. On the client, run Verify a minimum of three times and then reboot the PC.
@Ghoull, I poked at Win10 some. Could not get Arc to run for the life of me, but had no issues running the client. may be a similar issue though.
EDIT: on a side note, I was only running Win10 in a VM. recent work on my server has prevented me from hooking up another PC to load it on.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
same issue windows 10 preview click play nothing happens... but the games runs perfectly in Linux which i had on my old PC0
