Kitty got Kittysama, her HA-veno and primary main, to sage today. Now Kittysama ish about as strong as original Kittysama was when NW had just arrived. This made Kitty remember what PVP was like at that time. So little power creep.

When NW had just arrived, Kittysama was able to tank 3 T2-barbs at once with TT80-gears. The APS-sins popping out of stealth weren't much of a threat as they used to die to damage they took from Kitty's bramble. Sometimes Kitty didn't even notice she had been attacked from anything else than ticked charm and a dead fish lying at her feet.b:surrender

That time Kitty was able to equally 1vs1 level 100 APS-archers, it was fun to chase them while they tried to get as far as possible from Kitty. Not to mention some highly geared HAs running away from Kitty when they noticed Kitty didn't die that easily. They appreciated their buffs too much.b:cry

It was also fun to see sins trying to stunlock-APS Kitty's level 90 fist archer. Result: Kitty popped Blessing of the Condor and rofl-fisted them to death.b:pleased

Those days are long gone, just a long-past memory now.

    What i miss pvp wise? Meaningfull pvp, i hate this one shot fests

    The sad part is, is that i am pretty close to being endgame gear status as well, but its the only way i can compete and i hate it b:cry

    yes the pwi power now a days is WAY WAY messed up when a r9rr +6/7 sage vit barb with 32k hp gets one hit by everyone in NW and only does 300 to 1k dam them WTF, but back in the day the barbs was able to 1v1 and have np

    "Power creep" was a normal thing waaay before the beginning of NW. Think back to before R8 and the change of FC to what it was recently. Class imbalance was inevitable from the beginning, but it was still a fun run. I still remember the challenge of gathering every single Venomous Ghoul around Archosaur at the same time, just for the challenge of taking on the constant poison. It was so confusing for the rest of the server to see 50+ mobs chasing a single cleric.. But look at the times we play in now. Every aspect of the game is overpowered. It has just become a normal part of PWI.

    Btw, I can't agree with assassins being the dominant class anymore. That may have been true a couple years ago, but much has changed. APS isn't the same problem that it used to be.

    I really doubt most of that considering I could beat a g16 HA veno with my g15 barb with just arma.
