"As with anything all dreams can come true with a large enough credit card limit."
Stating someone on sanctuary server has full creations is not being salty, however, stating that last part is, indeed... being salty b:pleased

    Okay.

Stating that credit cards can enable people to have the best gear = Im salty about credit cards.

I have a credit card = Eirghan is salty about something she has no need to be salty about.

Or maybe shes salty about credit limits?

Or is she salty about people using them in general?

Or is she just salty about anything and everything? Because it looks an awful lot like every post i make is getting a salty quote. And probably anything i say after too.

We get it. Eirghan = Saltiest Seeker on Sanctuary Server

    Lets move on now.

Full creation stone veno? What a fail, I hope that person didn't spend all their life savings to accomplish that. b:shocked

All their life savings? Full Creation is about half as expensive as full JoSD anyway, and even full JoSD is only a couple thousand dollars if someone really charged for all of it.

There are 24 armor slots in total, so :
    - JOSD = 48 DEF Lvl
    - Creation Stone = 4118.4 HP (Cube+r9 armor buffed) or 5803 Fully HP Buffed(with NW+Barb buffs) , and a bit of pdef/mdef from vit.

JoSD works by reducing damage received either by nulifying atk level or reducing damage itself from a given formula if D>A, while Creation Stone works by extending HP so more damage can be tanked. About which one is better depends on how many hits you can take before hp reaches zero.

1 Def Level can reduce 20 damage on average, so 48 defense level equals to -920 Damage per hit. (actually it varies wildly depending on Attacker or Target's gears but 20 is my estimated average by doing a lot of test)

Now if a character can tank 5 hits before he died that'd make this 48 defense level worths 5x920 damage =4600 in total. It's somewhere in between Creation Stone's HP boost, buffed or not. The more hit can be tanked, the more likely JoSD wins from Creation Stone.
These are roughly my stats and vs a 190 attack level deity opponent creation stone is a bit better than JoSD by like 13%. In typical cases vs 130 attack level JoSD is better by 30%. In PvE JoSD is better by 50%.

Like in Asterelle's example, the higher the opponent's atk level, the higher the damage per hit, thus the hp pool will be divided by higher number and will result in less amount of hit. In PvE , mobs' damage is so meh in this game , you can tank like A TRUCKLOAD OF HITS making JoSD's reduction multiplied by a truckload amount of multiplier and surpasses the total amount of HP from Creation Stones.

All this is over analysis with some pretty funky numbers. If you think 20 defense levels translates into 920 damage you really need to test against TW-grade gear. 20 defense levels is the easily difference between taking 4K+ in extra crit damage (full defensive buffed), nevermind adding in zerk with that.

In reality against TW-grade gears vit-stone archers get absolutely wrecked. Full deity Assassins with S-card sets zerk-crit 20K+ HP on a full vit archer. The only archer that doesn't have its charm bypassed against TW-grade gear is a full +12r9rr JoSD archer with S-class spirit cards.

You don't seem to get what I mean in that post. You can even forget about numbers. It's just there for illustration and of course the numbers are just funky numbers because come on, do you really expect I could give an example using a Constant that will be accurate everytime for calculating a random character vs another random character ?

JOSD : Absorb damage , CreationStone => extends HP pool

If damage absorbed by JoSD multiplied by how many hits you received before your hp reached zero is higher than the HP extended by Creation Stone , then JoSD simply wins.

I said 1 def level can reduce 20 damage NOT 20 defense level = 920 dmg, and I did NOT say it's absolute, I said it varies wildly. If you mention crit or zerkcrit then the multiplier also applies , the damage absorbed is doubled or quadrupled, it's obvious, duh.

JOSD is better unless you are getting surprise buttsecks by deity sin's erryday.

Shards are way overrated in today's PWI though, cards are more OP, people with good cards, highly refined ornies and immacs are tankier than people with full JOSD and crappy cards.
