Remember the title when you read this, I am not trying to flame anyone or the devs.

There is a worrying thing when it comes to how binding items work in this game.

1. On one hand the support will tell you, that if anything happens, and items get bound to wrong character. It is the player to blame for it. I agree that the players must be very careful when buying stuff in game, but is also the devs to blame for this?

2. Why is it possible for lets say a Blademaster to purchase a Cleric skill from bidding hall (maybe intended to send it to a Cleric Alt). If he/she instead of dragging it to mailbox, accidently right click it (can happen the best). Now the Blademaster have a bound Cleric skill book, and if he/she send a support ticket they will be hesitent to help out.

If you try to lets say accept a beginner weapon for wrong class in Treasure Chest, the game will not allow you to make that choise.

Why does not the game stop you, if you are about to equip a skillbook you can not use? It has to be programed like this for a reason.

Dude what are you talking about i get mix matched stuff from the dream chaser items all the time doesnt matter what wep or gear i pick and thats lowbe gear. Its plan and simple if u buy a item that binds and u equipt it or open it and its char locked it tells u a head of time on it. Thats on the player for messing up not on the company to go through and fix it. Honestly there should be help for simple fixes like this but sadly there isnt. But if your a BM it doesnt matter if you open a morai cleric skill or not and its bound for 1 reason. You can be a BM or any class and buy the wrong book from your order in morai and your stuck with it well stuck NPC'ing it due to it being useless Honestly i glad it is like that because some people stay in a order for different reasons and would be able to get everything they want just from 3 alts for all classes and make stuff too quick and easy.

It's not devs' problem if people are not smart enough to read what they are clicking on.

That's not my main point either. I am wondering mostly why they choose to program it, so that players can do wrong things and have to contact support after. They would save alot of support work just by a minor change in game code.

Agree with you, however there is one thing that I hate more than that function and is the ''Unable to be put in to Account Stash'' status ...

I mean seriously I understand that they put that on rank gear which is class and rep restricted (and of course there is the $$$ factor) but to put it on things like a g14 belt (Eye or heart of the jungle) or a mount or hypers....
I wonder what does a 105/105/105 do with 500 hypers unable to be put on the account stash. b:embarrass
