PWE can only fix localization errors. Content and bug fixes comes from China.
As far as content goes; China recently had an expansion which we will be getting around January. I don't know about bug fixes.[SIGPIC]http://i.imgur.com/MtwcqjL.png[/SIGPIC]

And he's also gone from being able to focus on PWI to having to be CM for multiple games and keep up with all of them plus the extra that the company puts on his shoulders.
I doubt it's a lack of effort on his part, but PWE does seem to have a thing for overworking their employees.(Insert fancy image here)0 -

This i find to be quite annoying. I guess PWE has officially deemed us not important enough for personal attention via our own CM. They keep stretching their workers across many games rather then hiring on new people just to save money. Tell them to pay me and move me out there, I can sit at a comp all day and take care of stuff np....i already do it anyway.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

No idea why that seems to be how they operate since everything suffers as a result. As much as I dislike how support tends to be nowadays, fact is they have a TOUGH job. 24 of them to cover every ticket from every game PWE has. That's insane, to be frank, and it's amazing they manage to provide any service at all with all that.(Insert fancy image here)0 -

Like i said tell them to move me there and they have a faithful employee lol. GOGOGO get me in and things will pick up a bit xD. Not that i have any hope they would be willing to pay to move me there but meh. I know they have a hard job and it sucks how understaffed they clearly are. They should have at least a few peoplle that only work on each game seperately. All wishful thinking.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

The thing is, PWE is a corporation and will always act like one. The whole incentive for any company is profit, profit margins, and how to reduce costs each year to get better margins. PWE doesn't operate under the same morals of an individual. As a video game ages, we all know that the player base typically decreases; this can be seen in pretty much every online video game since they started being created. PWE's logic is that it will support the title for the first 2-3 years (with an average of about 3 years), and then shift most staff to new and/or upcoming titles.
For the sake of conversation, I want to personally state how I will never quite get the logic of PWE. By shifting most staff to other titles or putting just one or two staff on 3-5 titles to manage communities, it doesn't keep the status quo. Instead, people get angry and upset at the lack of support, rage for a while, and then leave. Imagine if PWE would have left a few extra staff to cover their once flag-ship title, PWI. How many people would have complained that there was no support and left? Probably less. Perhaps they weren't major cash-shoppers, but isn't the model of all Free to Play game companies to perceive all players as customers and potential buyers?
The actual ticketing support system has for the most part always been flawed. PWE originally only had a few titles, but as the company grew and expanded it's game library, the support staff became too few between. Furthermore, it's ALWAYS been a case of unprofessionalism. One support staff may not give you the answer you were looking for (gear back after NPCing for an example), while sending the EXACT same ticket and getting a different support staff may result in the exact answer you were looking for. Why is that? PWE clearly has no guidelines for what the staff can/will do, and it's probably more than often a case of if the staff is actually having a good day or not.
Then, we have in-game staff... Oh, right. What in-game staff? It was pretty common back in the early days when PWE had enough employees to do in-game events and actually follow up with players who clicked the "Report to a GM" button for a bot, glitch, or player-stuck issue. Remember the Etherblade issue where players would get stuck at the waterfall area? GMs were online all the time to unstick people. Nowadays, if you see a mysterious GM it's a rare event, and they are either afk or not doing much of anything. That includes not monitoring world chat when someone starts bringing up topics about sexual organs or how the color of skin defines you. Totally fine by GM standards, apparently.I host an Ecatomb mirror here: ecatomb.gdevtalk.net

They barely can, and it is showing. And that doesn't entice newcomers to drop cash onto them. PWI at the moment suffers from many problems, all stemming basically from a lack of manpower and motivation to actually care for their games.
- Support tickets are handled slowly and inconsistently. (Lack of support staff and probably a big turnover as well - high workload environments means people move on when able, and you get inexperienced folk to fill the gap)
- Community management only by running the occasional event. Community policing/removal of cheaters is simply not on the agenda.
- Catering towards endgame, and pushing players there fast seems to be in PWI the way to go. It is trifle to get a character to 100+ now (no whining about FC please, there are other options), at which point players find that after G15/G16 gear, the only real challenge is in eachother. And for competative PvP just plain G16+8 doesn't cut it anymore... You'll need R9+10 just to be able to compete. Which means farming your rear off for months (or less if you don't stick within the rules like the majority of the community now), or shelling out a few hundred bucks.
I'm enjoying the game still, but PWI isn't a game I'd recommend to friends to start with at the moment. Still hoping that will changeI'm so P.R.O... I Press Respawn Often.

I'd disagree, a company itself is just a brand, the personality, dedication, drive, commitment, service, is all a strong reflection of the people that work for it, quite often in these scenarios (MMOs) a small group of people as I highly doubt there are 100s of employees working on the same task, so pretty much everyone in PWE will have a unique, well defined role, thus their attributes will be visible in that service, and they can be held accountable for it.
Quite often the culture/image is set by the people at the very top, the ones below follow suit, and the customers/consumers pick up on this and form a judgement on the company, rather than the management, which is essentially the same thing, because when **** goes down (see Tesco profit blunder), the heads rolling are usually the top execs as they are accountable for everything below them.
Of course the people in corporations hide behind this legal entity enjoying the benefits limited liability has to offer, in some cases exploiting this for personal gain, whilst capping the risk they are personally exposed to.DarkSkiesx - Demon Archer
