Hey all,

We will be having our regular maintenance tonight from 11PM - 2AM. Below you will find the patch notes. (Not very much)

Patch Notes:

*All skill book tooltips have been updated for accuracy and internal consistency.
*The Arcane Sky questline has been rewritten. Some NPC names have changed as a result.

Maintenance Question: What holiday do you look forward to more? It can be any holiday you celebrate, such as Christmas or even Halloween! Why do you look forward to it?

    The latest manual patch appears to be: Patch 816-817 14.7MB (15375839 bytes)
    That's average-sized.

    This patch hasn't been officially listed yet.

    Because its the only holiday we get, that we can get drunk on, so we can forget all of our old problems from the out going year >b:sad And then get totally Sloshed in the last amount of its celebrationi time, b:dirty So WE Won't be coherent enough to realize what new problems are coming our way in the New Year!!!b:laugh

    Or atleast for a couple of days, until the alcohol finally gets entirely out of us a couple of days later...b:pleased

    I take holidays in January for 3 weeks and spend that time at the beach with the kids - awesome!

    None of the above. I find little point in celebrating religious holidays. Suppose the midwinter solstice has a bit of cause for celebration considering the days will lengthen again after it - and I dislike the long nights.

    Any holiday that brings together family and friends. Life is to short, and far to much time is spent in self indulgence. Sharing love and joy with the people you're close to is a privilege that we only have a short while, and take for granted far to often. It is what we give of ourselves, that determines what we get in return. So enjoy your favorite holiday, whatever it may be, but always remember those family and friends that care for you as well.

    In order:

    Favorite 'holiday' (but not 'celebrated') - Palm Sunday for reasons.

    Favorite Holiday - Easter (but not for any of the Palm Sunday/Religious reasons)

    Favorite day - Daylight Savings (an extra hour sleep/gameplay, whee!)

    Favorite holiday movie/tv specials - Christmas (I've three different versions of The Christmas Carol to start that list off - Go Muppets!)



    I do love Christmas, but I dread the over abundance of soulless, meaningless decorations/songs/etc and the media overtones of greed and selfishness associated with it.

    And there's this small verse I remember reading nigh on 20 years ago:

    Christmas is strange, it is the only time of the year where people sit around a dead tree and eat candy out of a sock.
