    • Will we get two new character slots for new classes?

    Unless I missed anyone asking, which is always a possibility, I figure I will ask anyway...

    With the two new classes coming next year, will PWI increase the maximum number of character slots for our accounts by two? My accounts are full and I would rather not make another account just to play them.

      I can pretty much guarantee that they will not be upping the maximum characters per account. This seems to be due to a limitation on PWE's end via their server infrastructure. I always find it remarkably comical that they expect most active players to have just two accounts (that's actually a rule... Lol). Two accounts wouldn't give much room for duplicate classes, now, would it? b:shocked

      They didn't care with EG, so I doubt they do with the new classes ...

      More cashing new gears for them I guess.

      The same thing has been asked when there have been other new classes added - forever 8 character slots per account.

      When the game was first launched, the most you could have was six; they added two extra spots with the tideborn expansion. So it wasn't always eight. But they don't intend on adding anymore.

      Unless i am missing something, I think the rule stated that you can not LOG into more than 2 accounts at the same time. You can have as many accounts as you want, but not more than 2 logged in simultaneously.

      1 for play and 1 for a shop....

      ALTHOUGH i do see many people ingame ignoring this rule and have up to 8 accounts logged in at the same time ( Just run through west and you will notice them )

      I do not think the GM's will even enforce this rule to be honest.... b:surrender

      It's both 2 accounts max logged in and owned with the exception of those who had more accounts before the rule. They can keep their extra old accounts but still can't log in more than two at a time.

      I wanna agree but... we actually did have 8 from the start. It was pretty handy to have one of every class plus a bank and catshop alt on a pair of separate accounts. Especially since the lack of account stash stones at the time made transferring items and such a royal pain. b:surrender

      Current character selection screen has room for more then 8 - I don't see why, especially if they wish to encourage players to not use multiple accounts, they'd limit character count -at all-.

      If I'm not mistaken, it used to be that we'd get a scroll bar/arrow when we exceeded 8 characters via external means (couldn't ever actually make more than 8 on PWI at least). When Morai got merged, though, it became evident that that's no longer the case since I made sure to have an account with a full set of 16 characters between the two servers just to see what would happen. No more scroll bar for us even though they -should- be able to have the functionality still and it may be that they just don't wanna put it in the UI. b:surrender

      i thought i remember some talk on the forums of the increase slots tho..... somewhere

      since the PWCN login char screen was totally diff. i wouldnt be surprised.
