In the past pw has stolen many other things from -Princess Celestia- but show originality atleast in concepts instead of stealing them directly from others with just minor changes! I know most of my post will be edited just because it names "other games", but I'm just stating the truth. Not discussing how other games work, but showing how PWI has shamelessly COPIED from those other games.b:shutup[/B]

    Even the people on official Chinese forum still debates whether this is a new game or an expansion lol.

    Everything that works will always be 'stolen' , be it mmo, fps, or other genres, there is no copyright for that, it's everywhere not just about PW and -pancake-, and I think that's not a bad thing.


    I'm very curious about the Hero feature, what will it be like, a genie, or pet or evolved class or what.

    To be honest most fantasy MMORPG have a lot of similarities to each other in general... but most people know the team behind PW has copied a lot of stuffs in the past. We even had a forum thread dedicated to copied fashion ideas.

    They may have used some same concepts but so what?
    It's called progression.
    Diseases are cured by "copying" other scientists work and progressing it.
    You think the F-22 was the first Airplane ever invented, or did they "copy" others with some changes?
    MOAB bombs are "copying" the older BLU-82. More effective? Doesn't matter looks the same to me. Must have copied it.

    Fantasy MMOs in general steal from each other like crazy. Nothing's original nowadays.



    ... That said, it's not the first time China's blatantly copied other sources. We have the chocobo mount, Naruto frog, toothless aerogear, Avatar aerogear, and then there was an entire thread for a while dedicated to pointing out how we have so much fashion that's an exact replica of stuff in other games and such.

    Considering this is from the same place that tried to make its own bootleg Disneyworld (among many MANY other such things) I'm... not really surprised. At all. And neither you, nor anyone else playing, should be either.

    And -Crabs- copied many things from other RPG's, games and the MMO's before it, so I don't see the relevance to it in this thread....

    Why is -Princess Celestia- MMO placed on such a pedestal? It stole, copied and borrowed from other MMOs, games, sources as well. It was not the first MMO either as others seem to think. All it did was take those ideas and do it them better to popularize the genre.
    Other MMO's are always doing this, you can pick through all the newer ones and trace back the idea roots to predecessors.

    Because people are silly or seem to think it's some sort of huge deal when it isn't. That and it's somehow become the poster child of MMOs to mainstream people so even the most unifnormed people can use it as a comparison when the reality is it copies just as much as every other one out there... but people don't realize it because they don't do their homework before making claims.

    Like that time people claimed one of PW's magic swords was based off it (and the weapon it has was based off of an Episode of South Park) when the reality is that PWI had that weapon design before the episode of south park that the game used to make that sword even existed.
