    Why I'm closing the website? Because :
    - need to keep it updated. So have to find the new stuff
    - have to update my extracting tools for every update. It isn't easy to do, can take few days for the quest part.
    - it take too much of my free time
    - pw is an old game now, I'm started playing it in 2007. So I'm bored of it, and stoped playing it since 2-3 years

    I put zip file of main part of the fansite, so players can download it. I put it on mega website too, so they can download it even after closure of the website.​
    I don't mind if someone set up a mirror. You won't be the 1st one who want to do that ;)

    Well, Ecatomb... It's been a great run. In honor of your services since I started playing in 2009, I've begun preliminary work on mirroring the website and will *hopefully* have it up on my domain shortly. In the meantime, for anyone interested, I've compiled a rather large archive of Ecatomb that can be stored and viewed locally. Just unrar the archive, and browse! It's a fairly large file, so if need be, I can upload to multiple file-hosts as well.

    When someone has a fully functional mirror please post. Ecatomb has been for me instrumental, helping me figure out what to farm for which gears and what skills to hunt down first. It will be very sad to see this website go down, if I had the webpage knowledge to make a mirror myself I would. So much information, like a PWI Library of Alexandria. The information on tomes helped me slowly farm for my Pan Gu tome, and I remember looking up which mats to farm for my Solar Flash plate. Thank you Ecatomb for the many years you helped me with endless information.

    After great work, I've compiled the complete backup of Ecatomb here. This should be the entire website as a whole. If there is anything missing, please let me know. I know I'm missing the background on the splash screen, but I'll get that worked out in time.

    I may make a separate thread tomorrow, since Ecatomb has been so popular over the years, that I feel it deserves the attention.

    Edit: I was able to get the splash background working. I've also worked on getting the 404 screen working. It's just missing the top images, but it seems to work.

    sad to see this site go under. is there anywhere else to look up new fash sets and new land and air mounts? i was on a break and have seen many new mounts and fash, would like to know what packs they came from or names

    I'm so sad to see this leaving, I've been using this site since I started in 2009. I'm glad that it's been mirrored, hopefully the legacy and vast source of information Ecatomb started will be available for years to come.

    worked some hours ago and just find a 404 yet. makes me sad.
    respect for one of the best websites about PWI with many helpful information! nearly 6 years now for me and it was so good.
    only shame about those, who think it should be dealed with money to someone else! its the work of the person or the team who made this site and noone can pay the worth of it!

    It's still working for me just fine. Ecatomb appears to still be up.

    Website is still on, but all page are gone (404). You can find a link to the mirror of bluestuffzzz on the 404 page and links of zip file of main page.
    I have done that, so people who wasn't looking news page of main page will have the link before it's gone (just few days left)

    Hey there,

    Just wanted to drop a little message here, I don't normally post on these forums but I figure a thank you is the least I can do.

    Thanks a lot for hosting such an awesome website, it has helped a ton throughout my gameplay, and I did play a lot. I'm with PWI for at least 5 years now.

    I don't remember that well but I'm quite sure one of my friends suggested Ecatomb to me as a source of useful information and I've been using it since then.

    I will miss the website for sure. Even just now I was looking for something and I thought 'hey, why don't I check it out on Ecatomb' before I remembered that it's down and some sadness crossed my face.
