Chat Temporary Solution

So I'm not sure if they have fixed the chat scrolling problem or not. This is because someone in my faction experimented a bit with the chat settings and found a way to at least get it to stop glitching with the scrolling.

If the chat scroll glitch is fixed, disregard this suggested temporary fix. Otherwise, here's what we did.

- Press U
- Go to "Game" tab
- For each chat setting, disable the grey "System" option. Note that there are TWO system options. The red one is not unselectable. But the grey one is.
- Click "Apply" at the bottom.

Then for a while my chat wasnt showing any drop information that I picked up, including coin amounts. After about an hour I got tired of it, and went back and reactivated "System" in just normal chat.

I haven't had a problem since. b:victory

This is not an actual fix but at least you won't have to deal with the chat scroll freezing up, making it impossible to talk to your squad or faction... or anyone for that matter. At least you won't lose valuable squad requests for instances in world chat. At least you won't want to yell at your client because PWI overlooked quality again in their content update. Well, the last one might still happen, but hopefully not as much!

    There is already a post on this,

    and for some they claimed it worked others like me said it did not. also it doesn't just affect the chat it also affects the dmg log window. both freeze.


    anyways search forums next time ;o

    what chat glitch? i haven't seen any glitches at all with chat i guess i must be one of the lucky ones

    Yeah, my default setup apparently excludes me from being affected by the glitch
