how do i enter the resource event?

My faction doesn't own a Teritory. How do I enter this event? I don't believe a marshal/leader/director of my faction is on line atm. I tried attacking carts/bases but I couldn't hit anything.

    Unless one of those is on to allow your faction to enter plunder mode from inside your faction base (you do have one, right? You'll need one to participate if you don't have any territories) you won't be able to join.
