Chest and boots only. You get a set bonus of -0.1 with 3 pieces.

The standard setup for using r8r for -interval is to get -0.05 on the chest and boots and use the leggings. This gets you a total of -0.2 interval, which is the same as you'd get from an r8 chest, nirvana leggings and the tt99 set bonus. This will also allow you to upgrade your wrists to g15 nirvana without losing any -interval.

Ive rerolled my R8r boots 200~ times now. Its not worth it! b:laugh Seriously though it makes for a tanky sin! I have -0.1int on my daggers so can get 4aps with r8r even though I dont have int on boots. Can pretty much solo everything I need to with it. 3-3, and all that jazz, can solo WS bosses with a bit of pot spam. Would like to use the r8r with my r9s3 daggers though, but the aps lacks quite a bit, especially without a tome. Also re rolling is very very costly.

2 pieces gives you 1300hp too, which really really really helps a lot.

You rerolled 200 times yet don't have a tome? Ouch.

r8r has such abysmal odds for -int. With primal passives the standard aps set has ~9k pdef/mdef unbuffed which is more than enough for any aps soloing. It really isn't worth it.

Just to give you an idea of costs:

r8 boots - 2000x Tokens of Perfect Luck
    r8r recast for 3 pcs - 509x Supply Tokens + 30m

-int on boots with expected value of ~200 - 3720 Supply Tokens + 200m
-int on chest with expected value of ~20 - 372 Supply Tokens + 20m

Using rough estimates for ToPL of 20k each and Supply tokens of 50k, you can expect a total cost of around 520m. Not worth it for ~2k more hp after refines, 250 more pdef and 450 more mdef.

If you haven't really started... best to quit while you're ahead and focus on refines or upgrading your rings... oh and getting a -int tome if you haven't yet.

Yeah haha once I got to like 190 rerolls I was like damn I could of got a stupid tome instead b:laugh I dont regret getting the set though, just the rerolls without a tome. The set looks awesome and is super tanky.b:pleased

btw guys what you think is a better decision? r9 weap 5 aps demon or r9 weap 4 aps sage??? also the build that i plan i know takes lots rerolls and i am ok with the cost wise. i am just wondering what people would prefere. 1 extra aps OR the more dmg from mastery with dmg reduction from 3 spark and extra bp heal???

Neither, choose which ever culti you like. When you are that tanky culti doesnt matter at all. I'm 2.5 aps sage (2.86 ws), and I can solo 3-3, warsong, lunar, and other fairly easy. But I also have a r9.3 set, which i kinda prefer since i got lifehunter.

People ask me do I miss the ability to perma spark, but the thing is I cant miss something I've never had. I kill things fast without chugging crab meat and dying, that's what really matters.

why not try 4aps demon with replacesing a 0.05 set bonus/item bonus to a attack level/or defence item?

4aps enough for perma spark, ofc could be better a bit the 5aps, but in chi view not really important because senseless spark burst before ur previous spark expire

    That's silly.

You use 5.0 for the 25% more damage it gives compared to 4.0 with the same stats and the fact that the extra chi gives you more flexibility when it comes to use of powerdash/subsea plus an easier time recovering if a boss does something to interupt your spark cycles.

It's far from necessary, sure, but it's still rather helpful and when you get to a certain point making life easier on yourself is really all that you can change.
