faction base crafting

Can crafting be done in a faction base which has no land?
If so is there a guide?
Or if not anyone any hints for a lvl 8 crafty psy with a base?

    It seems to me that lvl 6 remedies can only be crafted via land owned officers so I can only do this if I change faction.
    As for weapons, armour, ornaments I have found no information about these for faction bases only forges.
    I will keep searching but don't have much hope.
