Well, Hello ...

I been watching the sales since a while coming every week none stop ,for over 2 months ...a New PWI plan to make more money .
Whtever the reason is behind this even if its good for us in their opinion , I'll have to say this : That's causing Gold prices to stay high and never go down for the certain time we were used to ... while no main big items on sales like ( DFP's , CHIPS , MoG ,Pets , and other ), this is not accepted , we have a voice and we can change this .. and if pwi doesnt like that smart ppl exist to stop their greedness plans which are against our benifit , idc .. ill say it loud here not enough they ***** up the economy with botting system .

I completely agree, as a merchant it requires me to be able to predict the sale date and try to sell my stuff before the next sale hits. the r9 sale kinda caught me off guard as it was so close to the previous sale and now Dragon Fire Pack, not even a month apart. D.Pack- Ocean Orb-Chips-Rep-Mog. Pwi is just keep recycling the sale over and over, the gold price is just keep going up, if the trend continues, doesnt gonna take much time before archo gold buying price exceed 3m. all these sales is keep boosting the inflation rate. the only group I can think benefit would be the Cser since they have access to cheaper good more frequent now, but in all I hope Pwi managment would stop this cycle of endless r9/orb sale, and just take a break like before where they only have packs sale and nothing else, that drops the gold price back down a bit. I hope they can see how much damage it is doing to this inflated economy. b:surrender

The sad truth is, you're not going to change anything. It fills PWEs wallet, that's all that matters.


I honestly couldn't care less. I made my decision weeks ago when it became apparent that botting and the constant sales would just keep the inflation up at an insane rate. Nowadays I just log in for my faction. Gear progression and updating my own stuff? That's another MMO. It's just not worth it anymore in PWI.

RT's gold price hit 4m this weekend. This is getting ridiculous. I like sales because I cash, but I feel sorry for those who are ftp

I agree with you ulq but they won't stop sales. PWI likes money, from what i can see it looks like they trying to squeeze out every $$$$ people have before they run bankrupt from everyone quitting this game because of all the inflation in the server and making it hard to actually play the game if you dont CS.

Sales have always been endless. The problem is now the cycle which was 2~4 months long is 1 month long now. There is 549 buy side gold on sanctuary right now. 0 gold being sold.

This hurts the merchants in the long run, which hurts the f2p players. In turn hurts the cash shoppers to.

PWI does not seem to care about any of that.

Last two years, wedding packs came on sale twice usually, this time round they seem to be on sale more frequently.

Hot colour pack = no sale this year, pigments have taken over.

The company will continue to be this way until the cash shopping player base grows a pair and they never will. Between the pats on the back of glitch abusers to the high rollers to the 5+ year old bugs in the game, they don't care. You can base how a company cares about itself and its brand and more to the point its own customers by its customer service. Since we all know how much a joke that is, there is no need to mention it.

I said it before, and will say it again. Start voting with your wallet and they will listen. Until you do you will never get their attention. They will only make it look like you got it. Look how long it took to get more in game events even if it was only a GM. Another great example is the dq replacement. It has been almost a year and they have nothing. It would have been better if they just said, "no we do not have any intentions of implementing another dq system or the like because of upcoming changes, but it may be possible to do it in the future. Just keep tuned in" What do they do, just rag tag everyone along.

Why is it so hard for these people to just tell the truth instead of bull * everyone around and being little errand boys.

The only reason these online mmo games stay around as long as they do is because of the mass amount of players.

It is unfortunate to have this type of negativity towards a company and I am sure there are still a couple of people that work for PWE that actually care about the work they do. But, we will probably truly know who they are.

They really need to get rid of the botting system for our version they did it with the time limit feature that we were suppose to get. Everyone needs to voice there opinions on this issue and Sparkiesoft should relay this problem to his boss.

I have to say these sales are getting ridiculous. Well seems like archo was starting to stabilize but then they drop D.fire and anni pack sale, gold jumped 10-15%. Its really not such a jump for getting to a good sale but jumping that much from chip sale kinda tells everything.

If there is no gold for sale in the AH, is that an indication of less CS'ers ? If so, is that an indication that PWI may just pull the plug?

The reason why gold is rarely available in ah is because of the gold cap, not because the cs'ers are not around. In the pass, they sell gold because coins was worth buying, but now its not. Another important reason why cs'ers sell gold is because, things sold by players were cheaper than boutique price.

Does that mean they buying the same amount of zen still? I don't think so because the price of things is currently still too high to these cs'ers that normally buy things from players. They wont suddenly spend those money on boutique unless sales drop even further.

I'm not exactly sure what will happen in the future but players that rely on ah gold will have to wait for a point where said cs'ers above will buy more zen again, because they are the main source of either gold supplyer or boutique item supplyer. This ofcoures means that boutique items price will be set by these cs'ers, either at above 4m/gold value, but under 4m/gold value if boutique sale prices drop even further. This is forcing them to merchant which they may not like, while the ones that don't mine, may set rediculous price meaning free players have to wait longer to get their boutique goods, like a gaming lag. I hope things like a new dq system can ofset the negative.

The reason there is less gold in AH is because everything worth having comes from boutique. In the past cash shopper sold gold to buy their TT99 gears or TT gear in general. Now you may find a few willing to sell gold for TT gears but mostly they sell enough gold to hyper to 100 and get r9.

If anything is to be fixed they are going to have to have something farm-able ingame that is considered of value in today's game. There is a little bit of that with being able to farm and sell flow-silver coins to get cards but not much else.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here but the constant sales and available auto-culti are in fact to increase the number people willing to sell their gold or load some zen and increase the coin value of gold sold

And the only reason I will sell any gold, is because I buy my various alts g16 gear from catshops when I don't have the time to invest in getting it myself.

But really there is very little that merchants sell that I need and the sales in the boutique are something I look forward to every week. I could care less about coin value, though as I said above, I do feel for the f2p players.

You do also get affected.
When you come to the point when you need to get an emperor tome. You going to need coins lots of it more than ever and pay more real $$$ for than ever before.
Do not tell me you going to open packs till you get it.
The average drop rate to get a scroll of tome is 1 in 15,000+

Other items you will need are JoD.
They have greatly increase price and now even if you getting more coins in AH you will have to pay even more real money to get them.
Another item you will need is Cog of fate to make G16 neck and because of inflation the price of Cog has also increased.

The real problem is that there is too many coins in the game and not enough items to supply the demand.
That is why Scroll of tome is over 2 billion in my server and JoD and deity stones are at nearly 400 million each.

No the problem is people abusing auto cultivation are making a lot of coins.
I know someone in my faction that makes 45 million a day doing auto cultivation with multiple characters.

I know alot about the gold market in pwi since I am a merchant myself.
I constantly watch the AH.
I have seen numerous times in the AH someone putting a bid of 3,900,100
and clean up the whole sell gold screen.
Even if gold at at 3.5m buying bid.
These people are not merchants at all.Because if a merchant would do that they would be at a complete lost in profits.
These people have absolutely do not value coins they do not care at all since they did not put any effort to acquire those coins abusing auto culti with over 10+ accounts same time.
I saw that bid and quickly sold my gold to that person and in 1 hour I recovered that gold and was able to buy even more gold.Their goal was not to put a bid on the buy section their goal was to completely clean up and get all the gold instantly in the selling section.
