DC problems with Windows 8.1

I used to have Windows 7 on my laptop, and never had any issues with PWI. Yesterday I bought a copy of Windows 8.1 and installed it on my computer, I now keep having constant DC problems. I log in, play for about 30 seconds and then I DC. I've tried doing the tracert thing but it didn't work for me, what should I do? My internet connection is fine. b:surrender

    Most likely it's because you haven't excluded the client properly.

    If you still have an issue, come back with the information I request in that thread.
