I fully understand now that we will not be getting 2x anymore due to how long it has been since we had it. But can we get card drops back from the OHT mobs. Farming the mats from the bosses suck during normal drops. After paying for the 16 tomefrags most cases 100k each thats 1.6 mil then buying the Stone of Scarred that most people want 10k each and u need 3 per item and its roughly 20-25 drops per boss. Thats 600k - 750k so with the price of the tomefrags and them 2,200,000 to 2,350,000 where you might get 2,500,000 from the P-Stones after selling them. That does not take in to the account of the other mats as well. Everyone on all servers need Perfect Stones for there genie. Please bring back the drops from the mobs. I know this will lower the cost of Perfect Stones and might make some people mad. But as a Overall It would make things better long run because how it looks we will not get another 2x where most of those are farmed to cover a long time without a 2x drops. I only know my server prices on stuff my numbers might not be right for some servers i just know the Arch server.

    I put in a couple of tickets over time asking about the removal of cards as drops. They said they'd look into it and of course I never heard anything about it again.

    I, too, wish they would bring back card drops. I assume they were removed because of the stupid botting system, which just angers me all the more. I loved farming for cards. Just make a story mode for bots and put the other things back the way they used to be.

    Next thing I bet we'll see is high level DQ reduced to 1 coin as well.

    It is easier to disable booting at OHT, that will force boots to go somewhere else. But it is never going to happen...

    You know there's a daily in Valley of the Scarred that will give you I think 10 Stones of the Scarred? And another in Unicorn Forest that will give you I think 12 Leaves of Unicorn Forest?

    I never had a problem with a problem with any of the 4 variant quests you can get for Scarred Story. (Well, except for actually killing Xenospace Drake before I had an evolved herc.) You do have to finish map 3 culti to unlock the daily.

    You can always farm full delta and get fragments, tars, stone of scarred and all the matts while making coins.... i farmed it while rebirthing toon since is great exp also and gathered so many matts.

    2 hours per full delta for maybe if your lucky 16 tomefrags where u can do 1 card boss no thank you. Cards should be put back where we can farm them. This way tome frags go back to what they should be used for and thats making tomes. That would also help lower the price on tomes i mean serously 600 mil for a Pangu and that jumped up once we was not able to farm cards anymore because everyone started buying frags. I hope they bring back farming cards it would reduce the price of tomes due to a lot more frags avabile and make p stones easier to farm. This means we would still have to take the time to farm the cards but thats ok u could farm a lot more then 1 card boss amount in 2 hours thats 100% ok with me

    Actually I never had issues to take the quest, but the boss didn't want to show up anymore. Since I never hear about anyone doing this quest (on my server) I therefore assumed it was glitched in this version.

    any update on why the cards were removed from mobs? i cant seem to find it in any maint thread or other updates.

    The 4 variants of Scarred Story are:
    Kill Avalanche Brute (boss, wanders by the Usher)
    Kill 10 each Icewind Warriors, Icewind Snipers, Icewind Crossbowmen
    Gather 30 Snowbreak Flowers on Avalanche Ridge on main map
    Kill Xenospace Drake (flying boss, circles entire map at high altitude)
    I've done them all, gathering the snowbreak flowers is most time consuming. Which boss "didn't want to show up"? Xenospace Drake? It can be hard to find him.

    As for why card drops were removed... we've never been told, China removed them for their own reasons, and most likely has never told PWE why.
