Demon Slam

Can any demon barb clarify how much chi does demon slam give?The level 10/sage version is said to give 12,while the tooltip states demon one gives 20,even though the upgrade was supposed to give +18.

That being said,there are a couple of possibilities i thought of.It could just give 20 and it's a typo: +8 instead of +18,it could give 30,as it's the level 10 version+18 chi or it could give the 20 chi it states+18 more=>38 though i doubt it.

So which is it?
