So...FC buffed or sins nerfed?

Just did Fc after a few months on my sin. He has trash damage now on bosses(25% of what he's original damage was). I actually died to the first boss because my +10 g15 sacri daggers were taking away more HP then I could regain WITH sage bp(duo run with friend, she had sage bp) and I was expecting to just insta kill it. I'm still using my same old gear I used before, I checked gear, all fixed. 4APS sparked and all as always. My damage range is still the same as before as well.

    Unequip your gear, relog, then re-equip it and try again.

    Because nothing has changed.

    I'll try that after W3 BH, and I normally don't post about "nerf something" or really post anything on here, but this is a serious amount of damage my sin is lacking and I can't find any reason for this in gear or stats.

    Usually relogging does help.. otherwise check if you have a Jones Blessing? That's really all I can think of because, as it's been said, nothing has changed.

    Sitting here in FWS now hitting for 30k instead of 120+. I'll remove all my gear, relog, and do another run and I know I'll be back to normal.

    Ok just did that and did all the bosses again, seemed to have fixed. Thanks for the suggestion, damage is back to normal. Good to know sins weren't nerfed or FC buffed, can go back to leveling my wizzy comfortably now knowing nothing has changed.

    This happened to me once in NW, I was hitting puny damage on people I know that I usually wreck, was about to rage quit the NW when I realised I had switched to my r8r def lvl bow and omalleys to run in a flag and didn't switch back.

    I find it funny that in these threads the OP always states how much damage he has lost in percentage, but they never post any real proof.

    This happened to me too, normally I kill bubble boss in enough time to gain back about two and a half sparks. But the other day I got all 3 back plus some... But I realized it was because my sage inner harmony proced when I subseaed... Damn those skill procs making me think my damage was nerfed. :(

Knowing how game suavy you are Sylen could you maybe explain what sort of bug/glitch/whatever its called could reduce a players damage and require them to do your solution that clearly worked for the OP? I am intrigued tbh.

    All I can figure out is that it's some glitch in the way the server reads the code from your character file in the xml data sheet.

    What causes this? Who knows. There are a few different locations all your data is pulled from. Two separate databases, and the character data sheet. It's just some random glitch in the way it reads the octets.

    The method of removing your gear, relogging, and putting it back on has always fixed it, but I've never been able to narrow down what causes it to happen. That's partly because the occurrence is so rare, and it's really hard to tell how one system is reading the data from the other system in the server.

    Also, just for kicks, here is what your characters xml data sheet looks like.

    It's basically got everything except your friends list, faction data and relations, and some higher-level info that the server uses to pull the data.
