Adds are very anoying

I always have GS, so thankfully I never see this abomination either.

That said, I tried getting my HP low without GS to see what it looked like, and it really is absolutely horrific. The fact that there's no way to turn it off is astounding.

Some people when they are at low hp get a window pop-up asking ''Do you want to buy a guardian scroll from the boutique?'' which in a lot of case disturb the players and do make them die while maybe they would had survive without that window poping-up in the screen.

Try maybe to duel someone, ask them to DD on you to get your hp really low without killing you, the pop-up only appear when the hp is low, someone getting one shot won't get it and YES in duel the pop-up appear, I guess the devs aren't aware that in duels you don't drop items or lose exp. b:chuckle

The devs don't seem to be aware that you don't lose xp or drop items in Nation Wars either. b:laugh That ad popped up on me three times last night during NW. It even had the audacity to vanish before I could click "Don't remind me today" once I died.... b:angry

It's one thing to make a reminder, and ask people to buy a product. It's another thing when the reminder directly affects gameplay.

It's bad enough that pop-up happens in PvE. In NW, duels, probably theater of blood, and other xp-safe/item-safe pvp events...that's just stupid. b:scorn

i am at a complete loss as to how much further they can get in greediness and being completely unhelpful. PWE has the worst customer service of any game i have ever played hands down.

Yeah, these popups really need to go. Tons of people besides me seem to agree. It's kind of insulting be told to cash so much in a free to play game. And it's an annoying interference. It isn't wise to push your players to the brink like this. People will eventually get fed up, quit, and come back in a couple of months tops.

So, sparkie, can you please do something to get rid of these ads for us?

Seems to me like this is something that could have been better done with some sort of system message sent to the chat window. Everyone notices when a different color chat pops up in their chat window, and then it wouldn't directly affect gameplay.

I mean, if a system can track individual damage to a specific mob and send it to your chat window, why can't it send a simple chat message when your inventory doesn't show a specific ID in a particular situation?

I don't know if this will help, but I think I found an INI file associated with the popup:

C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\userdata\quickbuy\14047362.ini

Its contents are:

I haven't messed with it, but maybe there's a workaround for this bug here.
