How will the winning faction be picked for each server? will it be the same as last time or something diffrent?

Also roughly how often will the resets happen, and if there an officail statment from the "powers at be" about the new content from pwcn?

Will that content, if ever be ported to us? If so do we have a ETA?

Kind of a shot in the dark, but i got to keep hope.

So is the panda the final reward for any faction that topped 3 or more seasons? Figured we could have gotten a 3rd tier prize.b:shutup

tbh, I'm fine with there only being two possible rewards. Could probably throw in some event gold as well for winning though, ngl.

This. Considering, pet is decoratory and weap is good only for very limited purposes and not for all classes... b:tired
I don't complain for reward since it's just free reward, but it's same each time for every faction no matter how many times they've got this so far b:surrender

Just saying, it could have been another vanity gift, like exclusive fash or pets besides the panda, or the rainbow r8r weaps for the factions that past the "win 2 seasons" mark.

Either way, it was just an idea/suggestion.

Nah just stick with the same old rewards, no need to add anything.

When youre in a TW against a faction, who abuse orb codes and fakes SS to get free stuff to go full RRR9+12 JOSD, they will just set up vort on spawns so TW is over in like 20mins. Basically be rewarding scammers for what? Having the most land? If others abused codes, im sure the lands would look a lot different accross the servers.

It has nothing to do with the size of the faction, it has everything to do with how that faction gotten so big.

I'm quite sure the winning faction got big the same way they always have done on every server - the faction that's winning TW suddenly gets the top 15% of every other faction who is tired of losing and goes where the grass is greener.

I'd love to see a TW season where you can't leave a faction until the week after TW reset.

The same way it's always been picked. As far as I know, nothing is changing logistically speaking. Resets should happen every 6 months, as was planned before we had some internal changes in our office. As for new content, expect to hear something in the next coming months. I can't say when, for obvious reasons, but it is planned to make its way here.

No plans yet, that I've heard of. I can however make the suggestion, so we'll just have to wait and see.

It's for the faction that wins 2 times in a row. Essentially, if you won last season, you would need to win this season in order to be eligible.

I think what Knownase was trying to get across is the faction on Heavens Tear has now won this TW season plus the 2 previous seasons so we should be able to get something different as the reward. If the same faction wins season after season after season etc then more thought should go into the prize. Winning your first season gets you the ceremonial weapon, second season gets you the panda, third season should get something unique.

tbh, no. The rewards are fine as is. There only being two possible rewards gives incentive to the winning guild after 2 seasons to just do whatever they want personally instead of having to 100% win every season just for a new reward.

Um, no. An incentive would be to give people that have won tw more than 2 times an incentive to win more. What's the point of winning more if there is nothing to boast about with a better pet/weapon/fashion that no one else can get, unles u have won that many in a row. A bit like Enrage winning the full map and getting nothing for it.

To... y'know... win? To have your name out there as a winning faction? To have enjoyed the season and the challenges you faced getting to the top spot?

God forbid people actually be motivated by having fun rather than some external reward for winning.

This is the sort of cancer that gives you win-at-all-costs bull that results in a map that looks something like Archo's current map, where so many people are so obsessed with winning that they stuff one faction so full of highly-geared people that they can steamroll every singe other faction with hardly any effort for pretty much the entire season.

There being only two possible prizes for TW season basically dictated how the season ended up on HL. Had there been more potential prizes other than the wep and panda, the outcome would have been totally different. Basically, it let the #1 guild on the server choose instead to have fun TWs with the #2 guild on the server at the time instead of just defending the #3, #4, and sometimes some random guild in a 3-4 stack (of #2/#3/#4 and sometimes that random) that lasted half the season.

I see no problem with this situation. #1 and #2 get fun TWs, and #3+ get to eat away at #1 for land, and end up bordering each other to have their own fun TWs.

Compare with the map I linked above, where the season reward leads to a faction with 100 r9r3s available for TW while most other facs are showing 20-30 people total (~40 high end), none of which get fun TWs for most of the season because they're unable to reach factions of similar strength.

We were literally down to like two or three lands at one point. Granted, doing much better now, but yeah. The #3 and #4 were never not touching throughout the entire stack though. They were just allies until rather recently.

Archo's map looks sickeningly close to something an old guild leader of mine planned out way back when. You'd basically have to ****ing fake bid yourself off of there and hope you don't get perma-banned just to get actual TWs.

I take it ur not in a top Faction?
Have you ever been in a top Faction?
Have you ever been in a Faction that has totally taken the full map?

If your answer is no then u will not understand.
Our Faction has won the last 2 seasons and will be winning this season too.
And no we did not white wash #2 Factions all the time. It is not our Factions fault that people want to join a winning Faction. And actually the #2 Faction has more ppl that will turn up for a TW and more better Geared ppl. It is not our fault that they lack leadership to take them past our level.

And btw we have lots of fun, but its always nice to get something for what u have woken up early, or stayed up late for.

I have been participating in top-tier TWs for the past two and a half years. I know how the game is played.

And when you literally have more than half of the firepower on the server, at some point yes, it becomes your fault.

Are you on Archosaur? If your answer is no then you will not understand.

You want something for what you have woken up early or stayed up late for? Go find some good TWs so you actually have fun doing them, and you won't feel a need to demand season rewards.

No-one is demanding season rewards. When the first server had consecutive season winners, they gave them something unique (panda knight pet) as they had won 2 seasons in a row. All that is being asked, is the same consideration to be given to the factions that win 3 season in a row (then 4 seasons etc).

We had a similar problem on Dreamweaver, the #2 and #3 were getting 'one push'ed by the #1 faction, so I worked out a merge and #2 and #3 merged together and are beating the old #1 faction.

Hopefully the old #1 can get some its old roster playing again that stopped playing due to various reasons, recruit a few more, and work on improving base defence strategies (long time since they had to defend a base so abit unorganised atm) should be some fun fights next season.

Basically the right mergers need to happen and most of the time egos politics and grudges get in the way. It's up to faction leaders to make this happen like I had to.
