Faction Banners idea

How about an idea of a faction banner which can be carried around by faction leaders and planted in faction AFK spots or anywhere on the main maps they choose.

Something maybe twice the size of PWI characters where our logos are clearly visible. When planted, people can click and get info on the faction name, recruitment levels, base lvls and leader name etc. This was a system implemented on another MMORPG I used to play and it never had 1 negative feedback.

What do others think of this?

    This idea can go places, sadly one of those places wont be PWI. It's like this right, PWI sees every good idea out there and chooses to look over them. b:surrender

    Well this is where common sense prevails. Just like PWI have certain areas where you can't summon pets fr this problem, they can do it for the banners too, ie not on BH platform and any NPCs on ground, have a 8m radius or so where you cant place a banner.

    I think that it's a really cool idea, for what it's worth:) A game I used to play had different designs that the faction/guilds could use to create their own capes. The characters were able to wear them (or not) while they were running around in game. There were like about 10 -20 designs you could choose from & you could change the color of the cape to whatever you wanted. I liked those, too.

    I also forgot about the fashion aspect of it.

    Maybe, but I'm not sure as I don't remember banners. Just the capes & that my guild hall had many leather bound books when I quit XD But the capes were quite cool, as were the different designs/logos that you could choose from.

    Ahh.. maybe not xD Its similar ideas though in terms of choosing own colours, logos etc.

    My idea would be a banner in the logos colours.

    That sounds like a cool idea, but they would definitely have to limit areas for it. Nowhere near NPCs at the very least. Nice to have a little more advertisement in-game, though, and a way for people to get information on the factions that don't like to spam world chat.

    Yeah for this reason alone as many people still spam wc trying to recruit. I just thought it would add a cool and different perspective to the game having a flag banner at faction afk spots.

    Like this idea and I think others would as long as its done correctly!

    Maybe a stone of some sort would be better! and yes a limit of areas to put these into would be an idea as with a limit of How often and a bit more. Lets define this idea before I log it so we have a clear picture to offer the devs!

    @ Pistdoff - Archosaur would you mind doing a Sum up of the suggestion / ideas give by other people in a post or your first post please and ill get this into the Log File! No hurry to log this so we can get this idea right. One other thing must be different as we can copy another idea.
