this page selling 30M coins for 9 us$. PW going through a time of inflation, and the cause of this inflation is this ad selling currencies in exchange for dollars, all those dollars that are not converted to Zen-> gold in the game, proboca a lack of gold and this makes increase inordinately. I'm sure the GMs do not like this, because it is money that does not enter the game. You may be blocking the accounts listed in this ad promoting world chat, but that's not enough. We must find ways to stabilize the economy of the game, many no longer play because the gap with people carrying dollars is very large, and worse, you can not use coins to buy gold, as this is lacking at home auction.
My question is: is legal what the page report as hacking help people who promote this page in the game?
I hope some administrative or moderator can clarify this.
from already thank you very much

    It's not hacking, it's phishing.

It's not legit either, so you'll need to submit a ticket and pray someone gives a damn gets it.

Anyone who uses it will likely get their account stolen because that is the sole purpose of the site.

That doesn't help. They use a rotating proxy so the IP address constantly changes.

Surely PWE can take legal action against the company running the web site itself?

Something needs to be done about them and I am not sure banning the accounts will work, they will just create more, and banning the IP wont work as they probably use different IPs or proxys/VPNs.

I used a virtual image to access the site to see what it was all about. Well actually my plan was to try to feed them a load of fake login info or somehow mess with the site lol. But it looks like a well built commercial web site, not something put together by some script kiddies or hackers. The site is well constructed/coded and they even use legit payment methods like moneybrookers, paypal etc. I do not think those providers would steal your credit card details. But I certainly think they could well steal your PWI account...for some of their services you do need to give them your PWI login info.

Despite it looking very legit I am in no way supporting the use of it...avoid that website and never give out your PWI account information to anyone. Hopefully PWE will find a way to stop these guys spamming us.

Of course in the small sized world we grew up in we learned that the law protects us against villains.

The world is not small though. Theres different nations who may or may not be allies. The laws protecting you dont have world coverage. Better to learn protecting yourself (with brains, not weapons) than to keep believing people will do it for you.
Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

yeah I considered doing a DDoS attack on the site, but I don't have any bots set up anymore.

Thank you for confirming that its a phishing website. I've been far too chicken to visit the website myself, but I had a strong feeling it was stealing peoples account information.

I've seen the website being spammed for what feels like at least a month or two. I thought PWE wasn't doing anything about it, but you said maybe they can't do much about it?

We're just gonna have to rely on people being smart and not going to that website.

Yeah, it's a pretty bad website. The reviews available online basically state that they take your money and run. They don't even give you the coin, and make up excuses for why they aren't able to give you the coins (the dealer is sick, or isn't online at the moment, etc).

Not only that, but the deals offered from the bots in world chat are horrid. Most of the time for the equivalent amount of real-life cash, you could pay through PWE and sell the gold for even more coins than offered via the bot.

PWE needs to do something about this, however. It's extremely prevalent on Heaven's Tear, which is my server that I reside on. The same person (I'm assuming it's the same person) has been making new toons on the server and world chatting that website to buy gold from for months now. Months! Almost dating to late 2013. WTF?!
