Did new NW feature (seeing high ranking players and/or dead players) cause lag?

Just wanted to get feedback from others, outside of my faction. Some of us experienced lag through out nw, while others did not notice a thing. Previously my ping used to be around 300~500, this time round it was consistently above 1k, at times hitting 14k.

Did anyone find their nation war experience to be more laggy than usual?

This thread is NOT for discussing the pros and cons of seeing high ranking people and where dead people are in the map.

This is ONLY to get a feedback on how the experience was for NW with the new feature/s added.

PS: Yes, i know lots of you got the annoying pop up saying buy guardian scroll or other such things, super annoying, but Evryn - Morai started that thread, feel free to post your thoughts there about the pop ups.

    No, I didnt notice any additional lags in my case.

    if you are a player from EU server, yesterday there were quite a few localized dcs (prolly due bad gateways) but not related to nation wars anyhow

    i was randomly dcing all day just from morai... but i didnt during nws

    Actually I always have lag during NW/TW (old laptop / crappy connection) but I think I got a little more than usual yesterday (I pushed flag holder in the wrong way twice while trying to push them back :p).
    Not sure if this is related to newfeature though.

    ah ah yea i saw that... yea you were deftly lagging like you were running then stopping for 1-2 seconds w\o taking any action and then late pushbacks b:laugh bad luck :p

    I hadn't noticed the lag being any worse than normal. It's kind of a neat feature. I just have to get better about using it more.
