Most likely a corrupted file try to verify your client if that doesn't help, the best way to do would be downloading it again without stopping the download or losing net connection

Actually that looks like the message you get if you already have a client open and are trying to open a second one. (With new arc patch problems)

So open your task manager by right clicking your task bar and selecting "Start the Task Manager"

then click the Memory tab until highest processes are at the TOP- elementclient (if open) will be near the top. Right click, end task.

Or you could check the little hidden area by your clock. Usually has an arrow. The clients hide in there if you hit the x button to close.

That's the one that says it can't load the textures. It's either corrupt files because the AV software ate them, or it's caused by an un-supported video driver.

Going to need more information, and this should be in the tech support forum.



At a minimum, I will need a copy of the output from a dxdiag.txt file, and a link to a published Speccy report taken while you are having the issues.
(Remember to use the [code] tags for the dxdiag info and to remove any trademark characters so it doesn't get cut off.) (CODE tag is the # symbol in the editor.)

Wow, how bad is LC that no one would answer that...
You level up skills at your corresponding class's skill trainer. Each starter city has them for their race, Plume for winged elves, Etherblade for humans etc., major cities such as Archosuar and Thousand Streams has all of them. This is after you leave the Place of Origination, you cannot upgrade skills while still in that area.

And as for the OP question, I had that error before. Course I felt like an idiot after figuring out why it was giving me said error in my own particular case, but yeah it means there's something up with your video driver or something along the like as Sylen said.

You probably either don't have DirectX installed, or have a grossly out of date version installed. You can fix that here:
