Finally working Arc/PWI

Ok guys, for all of you who still don't have arc working with PWI this is what I had to do.

I had to uninstall ALL of PWI..I had like several
folders that were for PWI. All in different places (?)
One in program files and one in programs x86 ...You do not want these uninstall them and delete the folder completely.
For some reason Arc wanted to install pwi in the same folder that arc was installed in but still would not recognize the launcher.
So I just uninstalled everything about PWI, then went to C drive and opened it.
I made a new folder and named it Perfect World International.

Once that is done and you are sure you have all of the PWI uninstalled, open arc and reinstall PWI

*but don't let arc install it where it wants to!*

Make it install to this path C:>Perfect World Intertainment *or whatever you named the new folder in C drive. Remember, all you want to do is open your C drive and make the folder there NOT in program files.
Then once your game has installed into C:\Perfect World International\PWI_en folder,open it and go to Launcher folder click on the fixit file and let it do a verify for pwi. Then just add new game in arc and guide it to

C:\Perfect World International\PWI_en\Launcher then click on the Launcher icon.

This is what worked for me after three days of stuggleing to get Arc to see my game.

So the only people online now if I ever get back on with all of this ARC snafu will be the ones who have nothing better to do than spend hours debugging the ARC installer for the PWI folks?

Sounds like all the fun players with a life will be elsewhere playing something that doesnt require hours of stupid work just to get into their game.

How is this supposed to be good for the game kicking everyone off and making them jump through hoops to get back on?

Yep it will take me all day to do this if it even works if not for DarkerOne and my friends I would find another place to go

Any thread over one month (30 days) old is considered to be a dead thread and you're not supposed to post in them. The person you are replying to probably doesn't care any more or can no longer be found on the forums. The topic itself could be out of date. Next time just make a new thread.
